My friends, Scott, Brandon, and I take on Cape Chignecto Provincial Park for the second time. We tackled this 65 km trail in May 2022 and completed the total 65km loop. On this trip, we take the reverse loop for 54 km, checking out the sights at Mill Brook, Refugee Cove, Big Bald Rock, and Seal Cove. We camped for two nights and stayed for three days. Brandon and Scott opted for a tent while I stayed in my Warbonnet Original Blackbird Hammock. We stocked dehydrated meals and tons of light, high-calorie snacks to keep us fueled throughout the day.
The Cape Chignecto Provincial Park, as shown in the intro, is no walk in the park! This is a challenging trail, but the experience is worth the pain! This video serves as an overview of the park, a look at our overnight setups, and brings you to see the sights and sounds. If you visit Nova Scotia and love a good, challenging hike, there is no better place than Cape Chignecto.
Massive shoutout to @ScottMcRae26 for trekking in his work drone to allow us to get some outstanding shots of the coastal sections of this trip.
