I mean I see the appeal both the poke ball plus and the tcg tin aren’t to scale and these are the actual size of what a poke ball would be. People need to get over themselves like these same folk havnt dropped a Benjamin or two on booster boxes etc.

Just to be fair, baseball cards do actually do something. They record and catalog all the stats the player during that year and moment in time. Kind of like a snapshot of the memory /season

Hey, to each their own. How other people spend their money has no bearing on me; I just focus on how I spend mine. Very few things I own are purely decorative, particularly if they’re so expensive. Personally, I need to be able to at least play with the thing, like my Pokémon figures that might see use as minis if I ever get to play the tabletop game I’m slowly developing. How durable is it? I’m sure the metal shell will probably resist an impact, maybe get a little scuffed and scratched (which just adds character by making it look used), but will the electronics survive being dropped, for example (yes, I know not to actually throw it)? For that price, I want to use it as a costume prop and I’m a bit of a klutz.
