Thank You, for showing us all this traditional handicrafts. Much much better then plastic. Nothing is wasted. Using the Glass, wood and mud to create is hundreds, even thousands of years old. The blue colour from indigo is so old and used by many cultures. But unfortunately the development of the society and country will kill this hand made, priceless goods.

Yup, we were British Indian but as far as I know Kerala was never a a part of the Mughal, Delhi Sultanate, or Maurya and Ashoka empire. Most of South India and Northeast India was never historically under the same empire as the modern day north india, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The beauty of pakistan and its people is breath taking. Confident are those who don’t fallaciously try to claim others heritage, but stand on their own. Be proud of your country, leave us to ours. Pakistan has over a 1000 years culture, history and heritage, names, empires and emperors may have changed but pakistan was in their hearts and blood all along. We would have it no other way.

Eva, you are a brave adventurer to visit Pakistan. I was there in 2005 to 2006 for work and made many friends. There are many interesting places in Pakistan. Went to Taxila, a buddhist monastry and where Asoka once lived on top of a hill there, Naran, a place up in the north of Islamabad where you can visit a lake on top of the snow covered mountain and many more.
