- Passing CONCEPTS by Manolis Zouganelis
We are joined by Manolis Zouganelis from Morto BJJ at the beautiful BJJ camp in Crete, Greece. Here he shares with us his approach to passing as a lighter person and how he developed his game to compensate for his lighter weight. I had the pleasure of experiencing his passing first hand and man was it tight! I do hope you guys enjoy this form of content, let us know in the comments!

This is a wonderful concept and great thinking! I’ll be playing with this for a while!
🙏

This is sick! I used to pass guard with speed and power. But I really see this working. Would the upperbody grips be important for control?
Thank you! Yeah as you progress in passing. We recently uploaded another passing concept video with Jason Rau; he talks about progressively controlling the ankles, knees, hips and then the upper body. That's also how I like to engage passing. Check it out!
yes the upper grips depends on when your body is positioned accorcing to the opponent ,check my instructional if you wish ,on jiujitsuX called "passology" its over 5 hours of passing patterns and controls (not just techinques)
