This is my 90's LORD OF THE RINGS - Teaser Trailer | Mel Gibson, Sean Connery | Retro AI Concept that in this concept would've come out somewhere in the early 90's starring Mel Gibson, Sean Connery and many more and I portrayed this video through "A.I." what it could look like if they made an A/B list hollywood cast. I can't believe it but it's getting close to 25 years since The Fellowship of the Ring was released. I hope you enjoy and if you like it please like, comment and subscribe for many more videos like this weekly.
Sir Connery actually turned the role down. I think Mr Swayze would have loved to have played Legolas. For a future AI concept? I suggest an M2 trailer. Featuring Spider-Girl, J2, Fantastic 5, etc.
Pretty good. I wonder if aging actors are selling the rights for future movies to be made with their younger selves and what the laws are. LOTR movies were very good, but they can be improved upon. I'd like to see new episodes of Star Trek TNG with the way the actors looked in the early 90's. Eventually we will probably see these things.

Robin Williams as Tom Bombadil and Mel Gibson as Aragorn would be perfect castings, while Anthony Hopkins would’ve made a better Bilbo than a Denethor if think.
@@wolverine19881993 Anthony Hopkins would have been the perfect person to portray the Denethor from the books - a proud, noble and valiant man fallen into deep despair and enroaching lunacy because of the corruption of a much greater force. Maybe because not too many female characters involved in the storyline, which way off from Sean Connery standard track that he supposed to flirts with some chicks. 😅
Fun fact: Sean Connery was offered an insane 15% of the film proceeds to play Gandalf and he turned it down. After box office tickets were finalized, he would have made a half a BILLION USD$ had he taken it.😮
Never knew that. Good. Because he wouldn't have done better than Ian McKellen. Another fun fact. Orlando bloom would have done the film for absolutely no fee he said recently, just for the opportunity to be in a once in lifetime movie like that.
Indeed David Bowie really wanted to play Elrond, also it was Christopher Lee's life long dream to play Gandalf, but in the end he did the most incredible portrayal of Gandalf's alter ego Saruman.
Huh? How is Saruman Gandalf's "alter ego"? Saruman is a maia called Curunír, Gandalf is a maia called Olorin. When Gandalf comes back as Gandalf the White after "dying" in the duel with the balrog, he does say that he is Saruman as Saruman should have been, but that doesn't mean they are the same entity. It means that Gandalf will be the White Wizard Saruman failed to be.
Not only wanted Lee to play Gandalf, JRR Tolkien wanted him too for that role and even PROMISED it to him at one point - in fact, he was the only one out of the cast we got that still had known Tolkien in person. Jackson kind of did him dirty in multiple cases - still, he was great Saruman though.
@@seaxofbeleg8082 No, they need to cast someone the same height as Michelle Pfeiffer for Celeborn, and Tom Cruise fits that. He's also got enough charisma to not be overshadowed by the greatest high elf still alive.

David Bowie, Robin Williams, Richard Harris and Brendan Gleeson are amazing choices ! Also Michelle Pfeifer as Galadriel is amazing ! Great work.
I personally think Michelle Pfeiffer would make a better Eowyn!
Christopher Lee was already perfect.
I'd want to watch it all over again with this cast 👍🏼
What a great cast❗️👍❤️❗️
Now that is one hell of a cast!! Well done.
There's no way this movie could have been made. Casting some of these top tier actors would have blown the budget.
And to get all of them to agree would have been tough. Safe to say the casting would have lead to a very underwhelming story and direction
AI... Hold my power source.
A back-end gross percentage may have persuaded most to cut their nominal salary to work for SAG wages.
Все было идеально, весь каст.нечего вообще такое говно пилить с заменой актёров
@@seriousnesstv7902They tried with Sean Connery ie
This is awesome!
Bowie as Elrond is very impressive! Could it be that Elrond has been playing Bowie for 50 years?
These are so much fun to watch it really helps to forget about stuff and put a smile on my face thank you
This is pretty slick. I would have to say that would have been an awesome cast!
All I can say is wow! I am 60 and yes I could see Lord Of The Rings with these actors. Sad that only AI can show us this, but I am really impressed at the concept. Well done.
Cast Max von Sydow as Saruman.
The Fellowship: **Struggles to cross the Redhorn Pass to avoid going to the Mines of Moria.**
Patrick Swayze Legolas: "There is a Ghost voice on the air."
Sean Connery Gandalf: "IT'SH SHARUMAAAN!!!"
**Camera pans from the Misty Mountains to Isengard showing Saruman chanting a spell at the peak of Orthanc.**
Max von Sydow Saruman: "THE POWER OF CARADHRAS COMPELS YOU!!!"
Genius
Are you kidding me? This is freaking amazing! 😮
They started filming fellowship of the ring in 1999.... so that is 90s lord of the rings......
Thank you, wanted to say that, too.
Would imagine a "real" 90's lotr would have been cast and partly shot in the late 80's
Everybody knows that. Live a little 🎉
Lord Of The Rings gave birth to the new millennium
You're correct. And in a metaphorical, cultural sense, The Matrix was like the Fellowship of the Ring of the 90s (both are strongly aligned with the Hero's Journey story arc, similar to Star Wars)
This guy should be a casting director for all the studios he knows better then the studio people themselves, awesome once again 👍☺️☺️☺️
I agree. New caster, please.
This is amazing !
Geeze I’m sold. This also made me super nostalgic and sad for the better times now behind us.
Those were awesome!!
This is great love the choices. Jennifer Connelly as Arwen! You got good taste sir !
The most beautiful woman on the planet in the 90s, bar none. Of course she would be Arwen.
@@MrSpriggher ? No she is mid
@@Geni-yh1pv Today, maybe. In 1995? She had no equals.
Absolutely next level brilliant!!! Magnificent casting!!! Especially Jeremy Irons as Sauron!!! He would be positively chilling in that role!!! 👏👏👏👏👏
Bravo! A fine casting I must say!
Wow amazing work!!
I wish they had included Tom Bombadil in the movie. If so, Robin Williams would have been perfect!
your selection is masterful
Gleesen would’ve been crazy as gimli. Also seeing kilmer as boromir would’ve been dope
@0:03 Why is there a river outside Bilbo's door???
It’s to help resale value
thought bilbo popped some shire shroomies
My honest theory, AI wants to drive us insane
@@thlslsmadness88 for sure AI is making things interesting Samsung phones now have advanced intelligence which in my opinion sounds better than artificial
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
87% great choices. What we got in reality, however, *chef's kiss
This REALLY makes me wish they could have gotten that cast together for those films cause MY GOD what a show they would have put on and a tribute it would have been to J.R.R.TOLKEN
Dumbledore as Sauron has to be one of the most fascinating and unexpected crossovers in fanfiction
Saruman*
That was pretty cool!
2:44 “News has reached me of this ‘Aragorn’. I will eat liver with a nice Chianti and some cherry tomatoes. Ffffttttt”
Casting Robin Williams as "Tom Bombadil" is sheer genius. I might have picked Jim Carrey myself, but, hey, Robin will do a great job!
Didn't even realize this was almost 4 minutes long, I got so hooked. Well done!
David Bowie as Elrond! Amazing
Not to say Sir. Christopher Lee didnt absolutely nail Saruman, but Richard Harris at full blast would have been a terrifying Saruman.
Amazing cast!
This is MAGNIFICENT 🤝👏🏻👏🏻
