@@MarzTalksSports I don’t even think a larger sample will help in this case I think the scoring is inflated in this era and I watched the bubble jokers deepest postseason run jamal Murray was essentially taking the offensive responsibilities while joker sat back was a play-maker but Kobe is the definition Of attacking his footwork I think really set him apart from the tmacs and other guys but what really makes one of the scorers in history the guy was killer he wants it I don’t think joker want it like that

I don't think so. Ticket is mad because Jokic is being compared to all time greats or better despite the fact Jokic has only played for a few years. Ticket always have praise for Giannis but he always compares Giannis to the guys of his era like KD, Luka, Jokic etc... You never hear him saying things like he would dominate the 2000s or saying he's on the level of Shaq in terms of dominance.

@@qupope6955 Giannis plays the 3 and the 4. There is a lot more competition as far as forward go. Competition is almost non-existent at the 5 in today's NBA. You have three or four legit Superstar caliber centers in the league today.
It's because you can visibly see how teams try and stop Giannis and it makes Giannis look like a god amongst men. They literally just put 3 players Infront of him.
Defending against Jokic is more subtle, and players don't know what to do and thus look more disorganised. It makes the defence look very weak when looking at Jokic.
Also apart from Embiid, all the best players are guards and forwards, not centers.

We've seen this before with Cedric Sabonis and others. Jordan absolutely Clears jokic in every regard but jokic is a better offensive player than wilt. Getting your teammates involved is HUGE for offense and virtually every source in the 60s said that wilts ball hogging in his 40+ppg seasons demoralized his teammates, and his teams offenses were FAR better when he stopped his volume scoring. Not to mention when he had his massive volume scoring seasons his production MASSIVELY decreased in the playoffs

It isn't about what they did in the career, it is about at their best what could they do. Guys like Kobe, Magic, and Nash just were more skilled and valuable on the offensive end.

People are overreacting as usual. Literally 2-3 years ago we had a CLASSIC all star game that went down the the literal last second. Some games will be good... others won't. No big deal.

When they talk about Jokic in the same breath as an offensive scorer, they never bring up shot creation. Creating your own shots while converting them at a high level is a big deal and he doesn’t do that at the same rate as the players cut from the same cloth as Kobe.
