I second this as a tryhard in BF4 with over 2k hours. I have played Operation Locker the most and I realized that I pulled off a lot of plays in certain scenarios just because I'd gone through the same exact scenario again and again.
I usually don't let my brothers play from my account, but once I did and I was actually talking him through the match. He was shocked at how I was telling him things without even wearing the headset or having hacks on lol. It was just because I'd gone through those scenarios again and again and I just 'knew' where enemies would pop out, how they would pop out and what they would do.
So, the key to becoming good at any game is to play games consciously, thinking actively and not just playing on auto pilot and recognizing what kinda things happen again and again so you could abuse the knowledge you gain.

As a past e-Sports mentor, substantial growth in "pattern recognition" coupled to "cognitive decisions" is based largely on "repetition training". Identifying patterns, reacting skillfully, is best learned through repetitive cycles.
"After action reviews" are only effective once brain-muscle tendencies have flattened.

    • @sonictrain1

So keep on playing or keep on aim training?

    • @aaotcis

      I.E. Initial entry. [Forward deployment]
Adjust your character for maximums, exploring every route, to target threats before they are set.
This is one example of how we empowered teams to take advantage of "crossing ground" effectively.
Keep playing match after match until you've polished "initial entry".
This is imperative in any game where "he who sees enemy first in their front yard" has the advantage.

Amazing channel! We studied this in cognitive psychology and it is a very important factor to combine conscious and automatic(mechanical learning) to turn a specific aspect of the game into a good habit instead of bad and also be careful about the emotional component during the development of the mechanical skill because it also influences the skill quality of course this can be done by learning a good coping strategies with stress and setting simple goal(not overwhelming)

Dear who ever will respond me, PLEASE help!!
I'm playing FPS and TPS games for almost a year now. I'm 37 yr old and my son is 10. Reflecting the year now I can say, my son improved so much (by counting kills for example) and about myself, I just improved a little (its fact bcoz of way less kills compared with my son), still aiming bad, still panic. I'm close to accept that TPS and FPS is nothing for "old" people. I don't want to believe it but my son reminds me day by day that it may be true.
Plz share me yr opinion and experience. I need something to keep up my believe that I'm not too old for this genre.
I appreciate any response. Thank you

I'm 35 and usually slay in most games i play if i take them seriously. Here are some tips from an old gamer:
      1) Usually u panic in umfamiliar situations. Get out of your comfort zone and try weapons u don't usually use or maps you don't care for. Those are likely weaknesses being exploited by the enemy.
      2) Learn the maps and develop flanking routes for high traffic areas (places people commomly traverse)
      3) know the firing angles. While ur shooting make sure ur not standing where u can get hit from multiple angles.
      4) If u enter a room and have a flash grenade or just nade and u think someone is in there, hold it for a second and throw it in there first. Weakened enemies are easier to pick off.
      5) Switching weapons is faster than reloading.
      Good luck!

Oh and on automatic weapons try shooting in bursts if u can for better accuracy 👍

    Does eAdvantage count as doping?

    • @eathletelabs
      @eathletelabs  5 років тому +1

No, it's essentially a healthy alternative to energy drinks with a bit more focus boosting ingredients. As long as coffee and energy drinks are considered ok in esports, then eAdvantage is too!

10:05 because of past exp I thought 8, then that you would most likely trick us (as pretty much all these riddle things online do) then I thought of 10 because it's basically the most common way of "tricking" with these number patterns, and in the end I was disappointed because it was 8 after all x)

We like to add illustration and introduction to each core concept so that it actually sinks in. A lot of the time when we hear quick, condensed tips we can't really absorb it without extra context. To be fair if you don't learn like this, it might be worthwhile to skip ahead a bit, but either way, I hope you get some good value out of the vids!
