- Man this animation was amazing. Gildedguy is one of the few animators who can make me FEEL stuff with his animations. And he certainly did not fail to deliver this time!

Yeah and i'm glad GG is always fair. For example his counter was Bog, Oxob's counter is him because he grounds lightning. But even then he still made GG tired with his speed and strength. This was a beautiful work of art.

Blitzone J Benjamin wears a top hat, and is a lot more... weirder.
I like to think that between the two characters, this is exactly what they needed. One of them has all this pent up anger, and nowhere for it to go. The other is just a lonely, beaten down man, in a world destined to bring him to his knees.
Gildedguy's armor allows him to take everything Oxob can throw at him. Oxob's lightning allows Gildedguy to do things that he's never been able to do in his entire life.
For once, both characters were finally able to go all out and spill their hearts out in the battle. They weren't really fighting each other, they were fighting themselves. GildedGuy and Oxob are essentially one in the same, with all the pain, trauma, and fear that permeates their characters and makes them who they are.

For real, this episode was just beautiful
Speaking of them fighting themselves, during the last fight part, there are frames where their palette changes which are actually located at the impacts. Oxob has the yellow/red palette and Gilded has the blue/turquoise palette.

I think the look they give each other at 7:55 shows that they both understand.

great vid. Also, fun fact, Gold is the most conductive metal on the planet, which is why GG is basically invulnerable to Oxob's electric attacks.
It doesn't make sense because oxx can produce lightning wich can heat up to 50,000 degrees Farenheit and the melting point for gold is 1,948 degrees Farenheit

You'd think it'd make him more vulnerable, and fry his body like a stick-man shaped toaster. Personally I chalk it up to magic gold, given that it was gold applied via magic pen.
GG does seem to be resistant to elemental attacks, also, even if gold has high melting point, most metals don't retain heat from lightning as long as its quickly transferred to something else, in this case, the lighting is instantly sent into the ground.
@Trey Davis To be fair that happened in Camila's animation. I feel like the idea that Gildedguy's armor is resistant to elemental attacks like Nate said makes sense, since in GG's animation of JadeVSGG, his armor only broke when she physically attacked him with the spear.

7:29 there is so much to unpack in the Scene alone.
Seeing Oxob coming back from being injured to show he’s not holding back, both of them are sweating because they know they are going past their limits yet they continue to fight their hearts out and when they are starting to get in the groove smile briefly knowing that they Truly have no hard feelings and it’s like watching Goku and Vegeta fight seeing how much they’ve grown and how much they’ve been through. While Oxob has flash backs that keep haunting him he still doesn’t let up his fighting spirit

Oxob, your character holds nostalgia. I was a kid when I first saw your work, on StickPage. Now you've done something besides this all, lived a life strong and full of meaning. Still, I hope you know how much your RHG character means to people across the world.
Man it feels weird and yet nice to relate to someone random on the internet xD Oxob vs FoxnQ was the very first stickfight i ever saw and I was instantly hooked ever since, seeing Oxob develop so much and how far he has come gives me literal chills and so much nostalgia.
Also I rarely see anyone mention Sticpage these days. Sad that it has been basically forgotten but glad i'm not the only one who remembers it ^-^

True but my theory is adrenaline probably is what helped him until when the fight was over. He couldnt even stand.
I think why He doesn’t need the Leg enhancement at the end is because they keep Bouncing off each other or something like that
I have to agree, adrenaline was what probably pushed him through with the addition of the purr amount of energy pulling through his veins. And if you look at the credit scene the wizard is actually healing his legs
I thought he could walk normally and that the leg things were gifts from nemesis and the gave him that because in oxobs battle 9 he fought jade without leg braces and he would trip occasionally so I guess adrenaline helped too
@@bryanpan5178 In his battle with Xenrath, #7, he saves Xenrath from being crushed by a giant piece of rubble, but his legs get crushed under it instead. There's a Flashback to it at 5:32.

Only lost like 3 actually if you count his battle with xenwrath where his legs got injured. No Blazer's fight wasnt a loss it was kind of a tie.
If u realized gilded guy actually stated that all his animation story does not and will never feature anyone winning from the fight. This fight is showing that both of them be able to overcome their trauma and be better version of themselves. And also at the end OXOB wasn't loosing he just tired. Its kinda sad that the OXOB owner does not realize that his character wast loosing but its not like u can realized everything right? 👍😘
@@huge_house9539 Bruh Oxob was tired and his legs were broken he clearly lost. Plus Oxob himself said his character lost at the end like it wasn't hard to miss.

The Bog really stuck with gilded for a while there because it was a fight he didn’t win exactly He more like Suppressed and or Erased the Bog from his Calm mind after it entered him

Bog comes to GG at the end. So your right bog wants GG and wont stop until hes his slave.
Yeah, what happened is that a part of Bog got trapped inside GildedGuy's mind, giving him PTSD from what happened in the fight. So after fighting Oxob, he finally contained Bog completely. It may not be the complete Bog, but still, he seems to be trying to retrieve that part and win against GG once and for all
Gilded guy is beyond talented he uses a different style for each new fight and makes it look even better at the same time.
One of my favorite parts in the fight is seeing Oxob smile, a visual confirmation (at least in my eyes) that a "spark" for the joy of combat was relit.

Dude, this fight made me appreciate even more both you and Gilded Guy (Michael) as RHG fighters and animators. Seeing your creations battle it out fills me with more inspiration to start doing my own stick animations (tho probably nowhere this good -_-). Keep up the good work man! 👍

He looks like he's still wearing gloves
Mariachi Mist He is. They’re just leather gloves, and you’ll him take them off/put them on near the beginning.
Well his grey hands look like gloves because the cuts, they aren’t seams but instead blade cuts since he grabbed the sword during the fight with bog, does make them look like gloves though
I think it's just the art style for stick figures drawn like this, where they make the character appear to be wearing gloves and shoes to avoid having to draw them over and over in an animation. Oxob's hands look like that because... Idk

...on a side note, I was at the first stream. You don’t know how many jojo references there were during that fight.
The general speed and movement of the battle was also reminiscent of Dragon Ball Super. Cuz in the Tournament of Power MUI Goku and Jiren Full Power were speeding around the ring and red and blue trails were everywhere.
I'm that one guy who maxed out the volume to hear the animation's own music and almost lost an ear when he screamed "OOOH"

Honestly there seems to be a lot of old characters that have only been kept alive via gildedguy. Like when was the last time you've seen bog or jade be animated by anyone else? Hopefully it doesn't turn out the same for oxob :(
@@randomt_1468 Oxob is still active based on his recent activities in the channel but he's kinda busy animating for others. Yeah Jade is only alive due to GG at this point cause Camilla is focused on GlitchTale and I haven't really heard anything about Bog since then.
Oxob will be a reoccuring character, much like Bog,Fry,The cowboy and Jade.
And pretty much every character that has interacted or played a role in Gilded's story.
Oxob was my favorite stick figure fighter when i was little. I'm amazed you animators are still doing amazing work to this day!
When gildedguy thought of what to do to make the sword special he accidentally made it longer and that was how it became the flexible long sword
Gild already has that sword extending thing in slush Invaders game, he just made it more extreme af in his latest anims

Yeah, in the Bog right he does the cyclone thing cutting down the forest, but here he actually manages to direct it at a moving target, I wonder what he’ll learn next.
When GG crushes Bog at the end, Lightning arcs around his hand. A little takeaway from Oxob, I suppose?

Quick youtube lesson: Since gildedguy has full gold armor that means oxobs electricity can be gilded's electricity since gold is an exellent conductor, means he can release it or absorb it as seen in this shot 8:08.
(Ps. Hes also invulnerable to oxobs lightning attacks since the gold just absorbs it but he can still feel the force of his attacks)
That's not how it worked at all. The electricity spreads and disperses way too quickly to be "absorbed and released" redirecting or blocking it is all it will ever do. That's enough Fairy Tail logic for today lol.

@@chckngrub1090 Yeah, I thought that was the case which is why I made a reference to when Natsu fought Laxus and after eating his lightning he could use lightning magic, which also violated the basic rules of magic in the show.

Nice to see Oxob's perspective on this video.
I love how a bunch of people were mad over the turn out of this fight claiming Oxob didn’t fight at his full power and yada yada yada. Even though the Oxob clearly did all his special attacks throughout the fight and the fact victor of the fight was never confirmed. All we know is that Gildedguy was in a good enough condition to continue the journey the next day.
And best of all Oxob himself was fine with the turn out.

I don't know a lot about old RHG stuff, but judging from story 7's trailer, the collosium is owned by a dude named Andre. I think GG will have to fight him with some help from Arzon.

I think it ended in a draw because they both looked extremely tired except one was sleeping but it didn’t look like that the wino was sleeping was unconscious he just seemed tired and the one who wasn’t sleeping also seemed extremely tired

The armor is made out of nickel because of the coins he melted so glide guy transported electricity out of the body not allowing to electricute him kinda.
