I know you are not a realtor, but those realtor sites should really take a huge lesson from how you show these magnificent homes! The camera work is excellent, panning slowly enough for the viewers to be able to enjoy each room and surrounding property. The history lessons that go along are wonderful! I love these historical homes and that y’all are stewards in the future of these homes.
@I am Spartacus, I totally agree. I recently sent one of these homes listed on Zillow to my son, and the pictures alone just didn’t do it justice. With the walk-through and especially the passion in Laine’s voice, you can actually imagine yourself living there.
I also could not agree more. You guys do a wonderful job on these videos. You guys highlight these beautiful homes in a way that they all should be treated when being presented for sale and most are not.
Got married here… it’s truly a gem. You would never even know where it’s located because it’s so tucked away. The lands support deer and fox… and don’t get me started on those live oaks. The video can’t show you how enormous they are! And a gorgeous home that was well taken care of to top it off ❤
I like the romance of it all , also!! Imagining a he ladies in their beautiful gowns and even the dressing of the men of that time!!! Amazing!!! And the history that was born every day back then! Thank you for showing this magnificent home!!!!!
I have tears in my eyes. I am awestruck that this home has survived with such love and care. Thank you, Laine and Kevin, for this beautiful and informative tour. I pray the new stewards care for this home in the manner to which it is accustomed. ❤️
Absoutley Gorgeous..My husband is restoring a Plantation home from 1836 located in Sunset Louisiana..they are turning into a Bed & Breakfast..These homes have so much History...I Love your channel and showing the Preservation of these old homes..Thank you for sharing your content on your channel..🥰❤👍
You are the epitome of class and decorum! The way you showcase historic homes is truly amazing, wonderful and outstanding. You make us feel like we have walked back in time while simultaneously enriching us in architectural, interior design and US history. How very enlightening and educational. Wow! Thank you so much for doing what you do! It is very much appreciated and so very much needed. May GOD continue to bless you and your husband always!
I have an Amazing Story about a True Prince of Prussia that rushed across The Ocean, from his homelands, now within the territory of Germany, in the 1860’s…to aid The Generals of The South. He was gifted a Flag from Them and is still flying it to this Day!
You are such a delightful house tour guide, so knowledgeable and love these old houses as much as we who are privileged to see them through your eyes and camera. What a delightful teacher you are. Thank you.
Thank You to All!!!! Getting to see this magnificent home and hearing the history, and just to try and think of all the people and things that took place in this home.
Oh my....there are no words for this beauty! Worth every penny on the asking price. You guys never cease to amaze showing us these magnificent properties.
Thank you Kevin and Lane for your tour of this LOVELY home. You do such a beautiful job of showing the homes and their amazing features, Lane. I can only imagine that you both leave a little piece of your hearts behind when you have to leave these beautiful homes after filming. I believe that I would. It is enjoyable to see these homes with you, as I most likely never would on my own. Thank you for what you do and who you are! 😊 ♥️ From Tennessee.
How elegant she is!!! I close my eyes and see her in finest moments. You and hubby, with your recording both in video and voice, take me right to the time period. Thanks so much. GOD BLESS
We are indeed lucky to have you provide such a well-informed and detailed tour of a private home 99% of us would never see otherwise. I love the architectural detective work you do. On other tours I've noticed the later Victorian houses have arches with columns separating entrance halls, parlors and dining rooms, rather then the traditional pocket doors...or perhaps this is a regional thing, where cold weather make actually shutting rooms off from each other more desirable. Routhland receives extra points from me for the majestic oak out front. We have Coastal and Valley Live Oaks here in S. CA; the man who built the house next to mine (in 1928), went out the the back country and loaded up his Model T truck with fill dirt for his lot, bringing acorns along with it. Unfortunately the large tree behind that home was destroyed, but I've seen it's descendants all around the neighborhood. I have three young volunteer oaks in my garden, and will plant more. As always, I enjoy the variety and positive energy in your videos. :)
I do so much googling of vocabulary terms that you use while I watch your show! Education is lifelong with the help of intriguing channels like yours! 📚
That's a gorgeous property and the furnishings very nice as well. The fireplace mantle that you questioned at 14:16 reminds me of the ones made of cast iron that have the marbelized painted surface.
You do such a wonderful job presenting both fixer uppers and move in ready homes. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for these tasteful homes.
What a gracious, gently vital, handsome - home and property. Wow, magnanimous, ancient vibration for a hopefully worthy and sensitive new proprietor. Subtly dynamic place.
For me, a simple sketch of the floor plan would be helpful to orient me ... but the verbal cues gave me some idea of how the house was laid out ... Beautiful home
Laine, you are a national treasure! I enjoy so much watching your videos. You're insightful, interesting, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to listen to. You and your husband create terrific videos of which I look forward to watching. Fantastic work! Keep it up!
Thank you for another wonderful historic home tour!! I learn a good deal more about my own historic home through your videos. Appreciate y'all so very much!
Absolutely gorgeous! I love the symmetry of Federal style architecture. Washington Historic State Park here in Arkansas have many great examples for anyone wanting to visit our state. Your presentation of this home is wonderful. It makes me want to join you with some sweet tea on that sprawling porch for a long chat about beautiful architecture and history. You guys are my kind of people 🙂
Being from Savannah I appreciate the attention to detail you have given to us about this home. It is gorgeous. If I had the means to buy this home, I would feel cherish it with all my heart. Thank you for giving us a tour of this home.
I can smell the magnolias...and feel the lush breeze... A child of the deep south, I grew up in a plantation house. Maddy Bulloch's home place, Bulloch Hall, (Teddy Roosevelt's mother) down the road apiece.
I’m impressed with how knowledgeable you are. That’s one of the reasons why I watch. Could you or another viewer let me know what episode you discuss your education? It would be really impressive if self taught.
This is fabulous and the price sounds extremely reasonable. It would surprise me if this is on the market very long unless there is some issue. Just lovely!
I’m forwarding this to my realtor to show her how is done…… got job well done would not mind paying 6% with representation and marketing like this well done!
I believe this is property that we got a private tour of last year with Rusty Jenkins, the retired attorney/chancery court judge that gives tours of Dunleith. We saw so many that week. I believe he and his mother still live on the grounds . We met them at dinner at the Castle and hit it off.
I am looking for a home that I can have chickens and at least one rooster, garden, greenhouse. Love this one but I guess I’ll have to wait until my coffers are more full.😊💗💕❣️
Gorgeous house. I am taken by the snowflake etched glass in the sidelights of the front entrance. Anyone know a source for replacement glass of that type?
If I got it. In my dreams. I would put the Federal fireplaces back in. I think they are simple and elegant. I think the other ornate mantles look out of place and take away from the arch ways and other details in the room.
Honey, didn't I tell you I was going to spend my inheritance on something good- this house is now ours. Great buy. Yeah, now come help me - we'll go mow the yard. Mow? Yeah, didn't I tell you - it comes with 10 acres. 😲

I have always thought that when they show the Properties. Both do an awesome job.

Goodness gracious that is a beautiful home. With 10 acres in Natchez.....worth every penny!
I am almost crying with joy. A perfect home to offer splendor for all. I can afford this but my wife would not move. Beyond glorious...

Another amazing home in beautiful MISSISSIPPI!
It's beautiful. Thank you and thanks to the current owners for sharing the tour of this masterpiece of a home along with that masterpiece of tapestry.

Ok I need this house just for those gorgeous trees! But the home itself is glorious!
What a gracious, gently vital, handsome - home and property. Wow, magnanimous, ancient vibration for a hopefully worthy and sensitive new proprietor. Subtly dynamic place.
I have been in awe of many of the homes you have shown. I think this is my favorite.

Your production skills have come along really nice. Great footage!
The oak is beautiful. When you buy the home does it come with all the furniture. Love the Fireplaces. I love that it's all on one floor.
It comes with some furniture but you’ll have to speak with the realtor about which.
I’m forwarding this to my realtor to show her how is done…… got job well done would not mind paying 6% with representation and marketing like this well done!
One word: AWESOME!
What a place! Stunning...........
Thanks for the great video! My plan is to win lottery tonight, buy this house tomorrow. 😊
What a beautiful home! That tree reminds me of the one at the Windsor Ruins near Port Gibson, MS. Have you ever been up there? Such a cool place!

Beautiful home! 😍
Lume is awesome. Love the Twisted lime.
I'd love to visit Natchez again
It’s a lovely home!
Beautiful home.
Love your shows
I know you are questioning that black marble in a bedroom but Stanton Hall has 5 bedrooms with the original black Portoro marble mantles...
Possible the federal style mantle was originally parlor mantle and moved when parlor was “upgraded” ?
Very possible- or that room was the original parlor before the home was expanded. It’s all such a fun mystery
Gorgeous house. I am taken by the snowflake etched glass in the sidelights of the front entrance. Anyone know a source for replacement glass of that type?
Just magnificent! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awesomeness 😎
Beautiful. Enjoyed.
thank you
I loves this 🏠 house I loves the 🔥 fire places
Favorite channel.
Thank you so much Logan!!
Amazing!
Love Lume, love your channel.
Worth the $1,650,000!
Beautiful
Magnificent!
i. love. this. home!
Que linda mansão!
Are there any reasons for why a property like this would have been built outwards rather than upwards? Truly a spectacular treasure
Beautiful! Some day I’ll have one. And / or a Victorian. ❤ even if I can’t buy it til I’m 76 😂
Awesome
I would love to be the next steward of this property but unfortunately my funds don't allow it at this time
As soon as I saw the thumbnail I said "Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo"
If I got it. In my dreams. I would put the Federal fireplaces back in. I think they are simple and elegant. I think the other ornate mantles look out of place and take away from the arch ways and other details in the room.

It seems like all of the great houses of Natchez are for sale.
Not even a fraction of them, which is insane! So many for sale, but dozens and dozens more not
