Hey man, thanks for digging the tones of JM. I think you nailed it! I tried to follow your steps and I was able to find all of the captures in the Cortex Cloud. But as soon as I engage the TS808 by ToneJunkie, the output volume significantly increase and starts clipping. I used the exact same settings as you but somehow TS808 is adding up about +12db which makes the Clean-OD levels significantly unbalanced. Do you remember having a similar effect? I suppose there were some other settings on this preset but I hope you can remember :) Thanks in advance!

I’m really close to selling my fm9 to get a QC. Do you recommend it? I’m just so attracted to the U/I and ease of use, capture ability and supposed amp “feel” being the best out there.
I don’t own a QC but did really like it when I had it. I did miss some of the deep parameters that the Fractal has to offer. Maybe I’m just weird🤷🏻♂️ before you sell your FM9, buy some of my presets and see if that changes your mind! Fractal is my go to, but I know the interface isn’t for everyone.
No idea honestly. Haven’t tried it yet. I had the Headrush prime for a couple days but it was kind of a disappointment in my opinion so I sent it back. If you were able to do amp captures, then you might be able to get closer.

Im so on the fence cause this thing is compact and you nail the JM tones but fractal has a better power cable , more tweakable features. Did you have any ground hum with this?
Sorry, I don’t remember! This was created on a QC I borrowed. I do have these new Tone Matches in the Fractal that captured the Two Rock Traditional Clean I have.

I prefer Fractal units more. I just play more when it’s a modeler rather than something that captures. Also the flexibility is greater in the Fractal-verse right now. Way more effects, amps, and cabs.

Hmmm. I honestly can’t remember because the QC didn’t belong to me. I would adjust the level of the overdrive capture until it feels right!
Same issue.. What I have done is old the right output in the row and adjust the overall output there but not sure if thats the best way to do..
