The 2*2 Puma flanking maneuvre was intended because I thought it is my only chance to secure the push and take out the tanks with sideshots. The double 88mm surely played a role in losing most of the town but I think in this matchup I would have lost the townfight anyway, albeit a bit slower (but I surely would have been ticked). So I thought I heavily invest in the other side and basically trade the sides. The idea was also to block the sky in this half of the map from the getgo and fight against ground units with the range advantage. I think this actually worked really nicely, even the 88mm without lots of kills did a lot of suppression in the woods. The planes actually did a bit less than I would have hoped for. I think it was super risky but I knew epic is the better player so I knew I had to try something risky and outside the box to at least have a fighting chance (or go down trying ;) ). I actually tried a similar strategy in another game and it did not work out, I only opened with 1 88mm which did not help on the side but I also lost the planes too early. Losing the planes feels gg with this div because they are the key tool to deal with a difficult situation. All my games (including my many losses) will go live on my channel, too, eventually :D (liverecorded)
And thanks again for all the cool pointers, eg with the Panzerschreck units, no idea why I did not call them in for the townfight :-/

Ohh this was a fun one, but somewhat embarrassing. My reason for A phase supply was to keep the HVAP on the M5 Guns available. By the way, I completely forgot to use my M8s at the start, very foolish of me, could have given me the early game upper hand to snatch victory in the end. Keep up the frequent uploads.

@@kerbg-t5x You‘re a bit to hard on yourself, you got a good A phase push going, it‘s only later that things went down-hill.
Depending on where you would have put the M8s they could have made a difference. In the town not so much but down south for sure. But maybe you would not have had the points for a good town push then or woudln‘t have had much to follow up in the south.

Phase A supply with American divisions can be needed so you can keep APCR in AT guns. This lets them maintain the 2k range.

Incredible, vampiro got destroyed in A phase, i thought it was already over for him there. I feel like Kerb kinda threw the game, bought too much jumbos where they werent needed, just an over-investment, got them killed in a stupid ways.
