I love watching period movies and/or shows where woman ride side saddle. Especially ones set in the 1st half of the 19th century, the flowing riding habits of that time were so beautiful. Also, as a fan of the old series Flambards, I think it’s cool that women are riding side saddle again.
I’m giving you 10/10 for filming from the off side. Lovely to see hands low and back in your laps. I cringe when I see twisted torsos, and ramrod straight arms in front of the saddle. Of course I couldn’t see what your left legs were doing in relation to the pommel, or if there were any sticky uppy toes. Let’s assume there weren’t any. ❤
Mi humilde opinión la mujer tiene más dominio de la bestia si la monta a horcajadas, también le facilita el uso de las espuelas, pero es solo una opinión, sin ánimo de contender con nadie.
@@clarebell5926 And all I am saying is that “hunting” nowadays does not involve a fox. Bloodhounds follow human runners . All the packs I follow on UA-cam are bloodhound or drag packs.
@@Roheryn100 I’m sorry, but there is still plenty of illegal fox hunting going on, where foxes are indeed still chased to exhaustion, and then torn to shreds alive - utterly sadistic and vile! And no one can pull the wool over our eyes and try and make us believe that this is not still happening!! I have no objection to horse riding, but it is completely wrong to hunt innocent wild animals in their own habitat and then have them tortured and killed - all in the name of ‘sport’??!! 🤷♀️😡
In your opinion maybe. Back then, it was considered inappropriate for a lady in high society to sit astride a horse. I actually think it's rather lovely to revive some of the older traditions. My wife walks two yards behind me in public, my children call me "sir," and anyone not wearing a tie at breakfast gets disowned.
Arabian shows here in the US offer multiple sidesaddle classes , both western & English - beautiful riding & apparel ! 💙 🏆

I'm so excited to be learning side saddle here in the United States. I'm strictly a beginner, but I am doing W/T and some cantering.
Stunning 😍

Side saddle is beautiful and elegant - hunting is not!
I suggest you look up drag hunting and hunting with bloodhounds, of which there are several major packs in the UK.
@@Roheryn100 I completely disagree with hunting - all I’m saying is side saddle itself looks really elegant.

Only thing that puts me off is I’d want to wear a proper helmet, ruins the whole look!
