Just got this printer and am still waiting on some stuff to try it.
One thing I've been wondering about is; when installing a flex plate, it increases the thickness of the build plate. With the Mars 3, is there enough movement in the build plate when you home it with the flex plate installed, or do you need to make a spacer like with some printers?
Hello, so i want to buy Mars 3 Pro, whats your suggestion for a Resin that i can use to cast gold in it.
nice video , saw a ton of videos the last years and u the first who showed this magnetic plate - def will get me one on my pritner! i started to use blender last week and wanted to get me a 3d printer now :D.. since its my fist machine i thought about getting a used one? would u recommend this is everything is still fine?

To remove the print clean resin sheet, just put a leftover support in one of the corners and it will become an easy to grab anchor for the rest of the sheet. They'll come right out, provided you didn't place them right on top of a failed print, and that you have them pressed down all the way. You don't need to drain out the resin, though you should still drain and filter any resin left sitting for too long. I always give resins a good stir with a silicone spatula if it's been more than half a day, as well.
I have seen that done in the past but when I have a failed print I don't want to risk any small parts that might be flowing around in the vat that didn't stuff to the tank clean sheet.
Great video. Have just bought my first ever 3D printer (Mars 3 Pro) and took your advice and ordered the mag plate too. Quick question, even with the mag plate on, it looks like the build plate still dips into the resin but you didn’t mention having to clean the build plate before reinstalling it back in the machine. I’m assuming you’d still need to clean the build plate right?
Yes you should still clean the plate after every print

You are going to smell them both as soon as you open them not matter what to be honest.
There rings are just from different places all over the internet that I have found over the years. I don't think I could find the links to them if I wanted to anymore 😅
What printer do you recommend for jewelry making? Are there patterns I can buy?
So this printer will work for jewelry making and there are lots of places you can get the files for free or paid if you aren't able to design them yourself.
With that hanger, do you submerge that in the alcohol. What material did you make it out of.
With that flexible plate, Do you submerge that part in alcohol, to get the resin off the top of the build plate?
So the hanger is just made in some pla and I haven't had problems with it being in the IPA but you can print it out of other materials as that will hold up better over time.
For the flex plate I normally just take the plate off and put it into the basket for washing and then pop the parts off after that. So it can be submerged with no problems.
If you do get one you don't want to submerge the part with the magnet on it. This will start degrading the adhesive on the magnet. It can be cleaned with IPA but not submerged.
Most of the time I just use some alcohol wipes to clean everything off and dry them off with some shop towels.

Is there a way to get more adhesive to reattach the wham bam?
I got the wham bam for my OG mars 3 but had constant issues and couldn't print anything even with the spacer I used files that printed fine b4 attaching it to make sure

Had enough and just took it off my build plate and it was fine again after.
But I wanna reattacje the magnet snd plate somehow maybe using some kind of adhesive and hope I wouldn't have to waste money buying another magnet kr worst case scenario whole new kit.
Any ideas on how I can reattach the magnet or Amy I fucked and gotta get another one.
Also what steps and how did u do urs did u even need spacer for urs? I had it for my mars 2 and rarely had issues more after tons of use.

They’re from Wham Bam - they’re an American company - I’m in the Uk and have just ordered the same as they’ll deliver to the Uk too
Have you tried those 10k+ industry level printers for jewellery ? What's difference between those and this ?
Hey is there a resin that is safe to use for toys, like is it toxic if the baby put it in the mouth?
You dont want to make any baby toys using this kind of resin. You also don't want to use it for anything food or drink related.
