I am stay at home type of person. I would go to the beach to people watch and I might go into water only if was knee high. I love working with my hands in gardening, crocheting,, knitting, plus other things.
Loved the video! All my answers were the same as yours except for the traveling. Before I retired, I used to travel, by myself, all the time. I even went on a cruise by myself! I just loved getting away from the stress of work. Since I retired, I really have not traveled. And certainly not since the pandemic. I love the idea of join as you go for your blanket.
Liked you answering those questions a lot. Makes you feel like a friend. I don’t travel much anymore since I’ve retired….i like the comfort of my own stuff around me. Also like using both my mind and my hands. ❤
Hi Terri, just love your under the sea blanket ❤. I love the macaw colour & it looks really good now that you have crocheted around the panels before completing each one. I’m an introvert too, & not sporty at all! I always wanted to draw, knit & make things. I did shorthand & typing at business college & I used that in every job I had during my life. Now I love crochet better than knitting & just love doing it for new babies that are coming into the family no matter how distant. Cheers for now 🥰👏❤️💕😍🤗
Watched while I was sitting in the car with our Corgi puppy, Poppy while husband was in the pain clinic getting an injection. Thanks for helping pass the time.
I am clearing out some stuff and finishing the border on a blanket for the grandson! Next project for granddaughter a pink throw! Yarn will be in by first of the week!

I love traveling and road trips. I try to take as many back roads as I can because you can the real beauty of the US plus you can find good diners and shops like thrift stores

When we traveled once we had kids (2 boys) I had a certain number of activities I planned so they could learn science, history, shop, reading, geography or similar things to learn about, Museums, zoos, experiences were big whenever we had a time. The more experiential the better!

The granny stitch around the panels is really cute
I started a baby blanket while you were chatting. I enjoyed hearing your answers to those questions. I’m not an adventurous person and mostly a homebody. I’m not interested in being famous either. The only travel I do is once or twice a year to visit my siblings, all four of us live in different states. I like the granny border on your under the sea blanket, I think it’s perfect. 🧶💜🙏🏻

I love to sing, think of the past with my parents when they were here 😢 I’m pretty much a homebody here but my hubbys aunt gets us plane tickets for his whole family to go on a vacation together.
I love the cards/questions and really enjoyed hearing your answers.

I love the granny stitch idea for your Under the Sea blanket. I'm continuing my Pick A Project. For the last few days, I've been making squares for my Circle to Square Throw that I started years ago. Today I picked a new one and my project is "Stitch Your Library". So, I have chosen to do a new blanket🙈 with some yarn that I have in my stash that's been sitting there for years. The new blanket is the Yarnspirations "Snow Days with Hot Chocolate Blanket". I'm definitely not sporty or outdoorsy...but I do love to travel whenever I can. Here on the island of Saba where I live, I'm very much a homebody. I crochet in the morning and evenings and watch 3, soon to be 4 of my 8 grandkids in the afternoon after school. I love trying new things when I go out to eat. Living on a Caribbean island swimming was a natural thing. The beach and sea were about 50 feet away from our front door. Being a Dutch citizen, I love visiting Holland when I can. I've been to the USA a few times. Thank you for sharing your info with us. Loved it❣❣

I live in small farm town area and we only have 1 school that has all grades. Graduation classes only have 20 to 30 teens.
Aww, Terri, your under the sea blanket is going to be so adorable. I think the invisible join would be really nice beause then it might give it that look you crochet as you joined. You are inspiring me to finish my blanket, and I think I'm going to do the crochet as you join method also. I was single crocheting my squares together with white yarn. Or, I just may continue they way I've been doing it and then crochet a border
Hi Terri, while I was watching you, I was working on another blanket! I like making blankets. I really enjoyed your video. I had to think twice what day it was. I didn’t see the title, but I’ll go back and look. Anyways I really enjoyed the questions and answers part. We are so similar in so many ways. You are so cute the way you answer your questions. Cute is probably the wrong word. But as you were expressing your love of has the ocean but don’t like swimming in it, that’s me too!! Aside from that I love the new way Linda helped in the Sea Blanket. It’s coming out great Terri !!! See you tomorrow in your next video :)
Hi Terri , I enjoyed your video very much . I think the new idea for the blanket is a good one .....I love the join as you go method for granny squares ,that's my go to method , I don't like sewing them by hand . The conversation starter cards are nice , they help us get to know you more . I pretty much had the same answers you did to the questions . I have sever motion sickness , have had since childhood and I am 70 now ,it has never been any fun . I did manage to fly to Thailand in 1975 for a year while in the Army. And then to Germany in 1980 till 1984 as an Army wife ( the motion sickness meds helped a small amount , but you do what you have to in those situations) . I grew up in a small town in Florida and we have retired in Florida . I absolutely love the Beach , but I'm like you when it comes to the Ocean.....it's pretty to look at !!!! I learned to crochet at a young age , my grandmother taught me , I think of her everytime I crochet anything . I think about the past the most as you said , but I have hopes for the future . Thank you for sharing and allowing us to share also . ❤
HelloTerri! Linda‘s idea was a great one. I like the granny stitching around the strips. If I had to choose any of the three, it would probably be singing. I love to sing, but I also don’t like to be in front of people. I remember taking shorthand in high school. I also have my Mom‘s shorthand books from back in the late 1930’s. I think it is becoming a lost heart.
I’m definitely more scheduled than spontaneous.
I’m knitting mittens for a low income school while I listen to your video. I got almost one entire mitten done while you visited with us!

Hi Terri I don't travel much anymore, but use to. Been on several cruises. I met my husband on my first cruise, so they are special to me.
I'm a homebody, too, but my husband wants to travel. Fortunately, he has seen many places as he traveled quite a bit working for the Department of Defense, not to mention when he served in the USMC and US Army. We would like to go to Holland as he was born there. He and his parents immigrated to the U.S. in the 1950s. After going through WWII, they wanted a fresh start.
I have been working on my finish it Friday project as we hung out today. I really like the new idea for your blanket. Linda is awesome! I am like you with motion sickness, I just can't take it. Even when I go back home to the mountains now it is horrible. I get so sick to my stomach that I carry around those little vomit bags and dramamine. 🤣 I am not a water gal either but I love the beach. I love just sitting there enjoying the sun and sand and sounds and smells. I also like to look for sea shells. I have always wondered what made you decide to homeschool? I really like your question box. It did what you wanted I think, because it prompted you to tell us some very cool stories. I would love to hear more about your honeymoon one day. I have always wanted to see Hawaii.

Oh I loved getting to know u better-I get motion sick and it’s sooooo annoying it’s limiting but now I even have mobility issues which has me having to ReEvaluate everything so when my boys were younger I “had” to be different (more regulated) haha I love to think of myself as”spontaneous” but I think my son would choke… with my mobility I “have to be more planned” so I guess in heaven I’ll be more spontaneous!😂
You have the right idea..but do 2 rounds in granny on 1 panel and connect 2nd panel with 1 panel on 3rd round of 2nd panel.. I hope I didn't cofuse you lol good luck..have a wonderful day hun.. ❤

Usually when the round is curling like it is it's because you have to many stitches. Could you do 1 granny-group less on every join of 2 squares?
Great idea for your blanket. I think if it was me, I'd rather do a continuous join once you've gone around the 3 panels. I put that game into my wish list as I think it would be great for our family meals as our sons are adults now & still at home. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
Terri, my schools were the same way also. All my classmates were all together from kindergarten to high school.
So far, I like the granny square stitch and then join them up with that invisible join. In fact, could you do a tutorial on the invisible join?

The like your blanket, I like the Granny square around it. I think of the past more. The second question is none.I am famous for my crochet, people remember that I crochet. I did take the short hand class, it wasn't fun at all, the teacher wasn't a good teacher to teach it. I am definitely a scheduled person. I function better when I have everything planned out.I don't travel much. I like being home.I stick to the same thing every time. I would pick the yoga 🧘♀️. I have no desire to go on a cruise. I get car sick to. The last question is both. I enjoyed your video loved the questions it's fun.
Hi, Terry. I like the plan for the blanket. Can't wait to hear how it works out. I am crocheting my first pineapple doiley. I think I'm going to figure it out. I'm using fiber spiders tutorial, he's very descriptive, I can follow him without being able to see what he's doing? This was really fun. Love. Getting to know you more, I love to sing too. I sometimes get car sick too. It's miserable. I have been able to travel though. Quite a bit, and maybe 1 day we'll do more, we'll see . I take a lot of chewable dramamine, and that does seem to help although it does make me kind of sleepy sometimes. I also sometimes get prescription zofran, for nausea when I want to travel more. Nothing wrong, though, with being a home body. I mean, after all, that's where the yarn is at, and when you want to think about the ocean, you just make an under the sea blanket. I used to do yoga all the time and even took a yoga fit Trainer instructor class but never did the final training hours to become a certified yoga instructor who knows, maybe I'll do that again 1 day. We will see you tomorrow and hopefully you will do more Tuesday. Yarn talks cause I thought this was fun.

I'm a creature of habit with restaurants....so much so that one time we went out and seemed to wait a bit for the menus....then the waitress came out with our food - she said she saw us come in and knew what we would get 😂
I like the granny stitch border much better than the strips. I think the blanket will drape better too. The strips would have made the blanket very still.

That was fun To hear your answers. I would never scuba either. I have snorkeled but really didn’t care for it. I now say I don’t really want to see what’s down there, lol. And it’s DEEP water, yikes!

Did you consider making a solid granny square and do every other one appliqué then solid, you won’t get that curl. I am working a lion square and solid baby blanket. I love the color of the yarn with those cute under the sea square. I like the idea of Tuesday’s Talks with the cards. Great idea! I think more of the past, the memories you already have. I do think of the future but God only knows that. I can sing and play the guitar. HS was just school work, I have ADHD not diagnosed til I was in my mid 60’s. I’am, since retired am not a scheduled person. However, I wish I could get back to that. Also a planner and never used. LOL we went to Florida to visit my sister and went to the zoo and a flamingo decided he like to nibble on my neck it was so funny, he didn’t hurt at all. Restaurants, I always order fish shrimp lobster etc. I would do a yoga instructor for sure. Love the beach and is my favorite vacation. I think both using my mind and hands. Crafts of any kind, crochet especially amigurumi. Love the video thanks for sharing.
