Nicholas Cage as Captain Falcon goes weirdly hard.
People doubt that could happen under Illumination but I do think they might go with more real VAs instead of high pay actors for such a large ensemble cast. Just for the moneys sake alone. The Mario cast may stay but I can totally see them casting the regular VAs for the majority of the characters.

Not to be a Debbie downer, but seeing as there are a lot of experienced voice actors here, Illumination wouldn't want them in the cast in favor of celebrities, or at least most of them.
