    Very nice! What type of clay , low or high fire? It looks like it is bisque, are you drawing on greenware or bisque ware?

    What wax resist are you using for this process? I’ve heard certain waxes, like Forbes, don’t work for this process.

      I use the Slow firing program on my Skutt kiln. It takes about 12 hours.

      Sorry I deleted the pencil and wax talk from the video because it was getting a little long. It’s a Graphite 8b pencil. Very important to use a 100% graphite pencil. Many of the dark Drawing pencils have iron or other metals in them that turn red in the firing. Graphite just burns away. I like the 8b pencils because they are so soft and don’t scratch or damage the work. Hope this helps.

      I am pretty sure it is a Derwent Sketching pencil. Love that he explained the need for all graphite - makes sense, but something I had never thought about.
