Have you two been to Sandbanks beach in Poole, Dorset yet? if no, you should go and check that area out with all the multi million pound houses near the beach 😊
@@JJExtra Yes i do that too lol, so far in my head i have a house in Dartmouth in Devon, a house on the Norfolk Broads, St Ive's in Cornwall, Grasmere in the Lake District & Bourton on the water in the Cotswolds. 🤣
I had to laugh at your weather description - 15C and sunny, with Jason in shorts! Here in Oz, 15C is gas heater weather, plus trackies and Ugg boots! (Which is exactly my life right now!) 😂😂😂 (It’s 12.4C here right now with a “feels like” of 10.4C)
Weymouth is seriously cool , never been there . Sand World , wow ,so amazing! We do have the Sand Sculpture Festival over here in Denmark(not far from Hamburg)we go there once a year , always fantastic.But ...nothing compares to the U.K..Our favourite Country.Thank you Boys for sharing as we are having a hard time at the moment....Love the sense of humor you have.🧡
Ahh lovely, had no idea you were both big dinosaur people and as a professional palaeontologist that makes me very happy to hear! Love the sand sculptures, it's been a little while since I was at Weymouth sea life but glad to see it's still going strong!
Between 2:14 -.2:23 you're literally standing opposite and taken pics by the harbour where there is a place called Weyfish and they sell fresh fish. You might have walked past it if you walked all down the harbour! When I went to Whitby I thought there were Weymouth similarities and also just came back from Guernsey, lots of Weymouth similarities there too. The nothe is a great place to explore and you kinda need a few days on Portland to get a real feel for it. There are some great views from there.
@@JJExtra You were so close! You took so many pics around that area lol. Portland is great. If you can get to the Lighthouse, they do great chips or tea and scones! Great hikes to the lighthouse and if you want you can take the open top bus back.

If you like seafood they have a seafood festival most years in July there are quite a lot of places for seafood by the old harbour . Love your videos guys ❤
Aww we love Weymouth. Aww the little fairy penguins are so cute. Jon said that they usually have seafood by the beach near where the donkeys are and round by the harbour. Xx
Such a stunning place. We will have to keep our eyes peeled next time we visit, we knew there must be seafood somewhere but it was all a bit of a sensory overload. We were like excited kids 😂
That was a truly interesting, informative and Funtime video J&J! So good! I think I’ve been to Weymouth, but it would have been yonks ago 🤷 anywayssss… this year, the hub and I are on holibobs on what was once a farm (called Two Gates Farm because they have/had two gates!) - in a self catering barn conversion situated in lovely countryside with Glastonbury Tor in the distance! We holidayed there two years ago and know the lady who owns the barns so we know it’s 😎 Now, I was so excited when I saw the Dr Who exhibit in Sandworld, I almost had the same excited problem as Josh did when he saw that car! 😳🥺and when you ventured into Seaworld…. My geographical brain went into overdrive… how far is it from “Glastonbury” to Weymouth sea front and it’s only about 45 miles - hour n a bit travelling - ohhhh yes! We are going to go to those two places! If I had not “discovered” the J&J extra channel a long time ago, and been eagerly watching your weekly adventures on a Sunday, I would not have even considered visiting Weymouth, but now, hopefully, a day trip to Weymouth to see two things that I love is on the cards! So thank you for this! I am also fascinated by the Jurassic Coast and I have an O’level in Geology!! Me and looking for fossils or studying dinosaurs 🥰🥰 All I really need to do though, before I implode with excitement is to check to see if both places are “disability friendly” as I am in a wheelchair as I cannot walk anymore. Just need to check to see if they can cater for wheelchair visitors etc. Great video - where are you off to next then?

The gulls are everywhere, you just can’t escape them! The ones in Weymouth didn’t seem quite as thuggish as some other places though 😂
