Blue Sky, Cranberry and Green Mint. Frames 19", 21", 23", and 25"
"Fuji bicycles began to appear under their own name in the United States. By 1971, Fuji America was established to distribute the brand's various models across the United States. Well-regarded for their reasonable price and excellent quality, Fuji America soon found a ready market for their machines. Their 10-speed gearing (two chainrings, five cogs), modern, slant-parallelogram SunTour derailleurs, and Sugino lightweight cotterless cranksets worked as well or better than equivalent European designs. In particular, many cyclists found Fuji's frame construction and build quality superior to much of its competition. From the entry-level Fuji America and Gran Tourer, to the mid-level S10-S and the magnificent Sports 10, to the high-end Fuji Professional, the company offered a road bicycle for nearly every rider." Please be my neighbor. Beautiful Fuji made even more appealing. 👍🏻
Thanks! I appreciate your comment 👍🔧
Good to see you again, Oscar. If I were your neighbor, I’d be your detailer, in exchange for you teaching me the mechanics. Excellent work.
Oscar, I’m thinking about buying a lady’s Schwinn Breeze. What do you think of that bike?
It's a Deal Rita! you would be welcomed any time!
As always, Thanks for watching👍👍🔧🔧
I forgot to answer your question about the lady’s Schwinn Breeze, those are nice and very similar to the Lady's Suburban, they were offered in 3 speed with a mag sprocket and chain guard, I saw one on eBay in red, a really clean 1972 check it out, this is the same seller I bought my 1970 white Varsity click on the link below

You and me both, Imagine that you had a Schwinn guy on one side and Scotty Kilmer on the other. I'd never move ever again 😁

Been awhile! Good to see you back! Fuji bikes rocked in the day and they were so fast!
Yes, I was impressed with the Fuji, I had not seen one up close and it was certainly a treat to work on this one. Thanks for the visit👍👍🔧🔧
You do such a great job shining up the rims!
Thanks! I like to use Simichrome polishing paste after removing any surface rust and grime.
I always appreciate your comments 👍👍🔧
@@that70sschwinnGood to know! Your attention to detail is unmatched.
Great job as always Sir!!
Hi Alex! always good to see your comments, thanks for taking a look 👍👍🔧🔧
I love these “unlovable” bikes. The paint, pinstriping and ornate decals. The shameless chrome plating. Spoke shields and chain guards. Gimme those stem shifters. For me it’s a touchstone of my youth.
👍 😂 thanks for watching 🔧👍
Hi~ I have a Schwinn Le Tour bike from Korea. It's an old bike, so there are a lot of parts to repair, but the video is very helpful.
Nice! Glad you found the content helpful, thanks for watching 👍👍🔧🔧
Love this channel !
I had a Fuji in 1978 when I was 15. Wish I would have not gotten rid of it.😢
Nice! Thanks for sharing 👍👍🔧🔧
i always look forward to your videos It's been a while since your last. I had the exact same bike but mine was a 1974 same color and all bought it brand new and a fuji 12 speed for the wife for a trip to marthas vineyard . That bike was a work horse very dependable and a blast to ride. Unfortunately my days of riding a road bike ended due to issues with my hands so last year it was sold on craigslist and will probably last another 50 years !
Thanks Steve! glad to hear you have found the content interesting, I certainly enjoyed working on this vintage beauty and found it to be a very well made bike, Sounds like you and your wife discovered them years ago. It definitely reminded me of the Schwinn approved imports like the Le Tour, Traveler and World Voyageur. Although your riding days may be behind you, there is always time to reminisce and admire these old road bikes from afar.
Thanks for watching👍👍🔧🔧
This was my dream bike in 1976. Sun Cycle Ashland Or

Thanks for watching Terry! 👍👍🔧🔧 yes, I agree, an affordable well made bike still on the road today.
Which color was yours?
@@that70sschwinn mine was White.
@@terryforbes4038 Nice, yours would have been a 1978 Sports 10 in white, love the white color 👍👍
@@that70sschwinn yes, you are correct.
Edit: original saddle!🤤
Yep, turns out the rack is original too😅
The rear derailleur cage seems bent tbh.
Yes, it was tweaked out and working nicely Thanks for your feedback 👍🔧
What are options for getting as close to original stenciled schwinn frame labels? I only see a decal sticker types available for my 75 Continental?
This seller has a good variety of Schwinn water transfer decals, these are just like what the Schwinn used on their Continental and all other bikes, here is a complete set in white, if you need the black ones, you can aske the seller as I'm sure he has them as well. www.ebay.com/itm/372635959687?hash=item56c2d58187:g:3HIAAMXQobdQ80j4
