I have to say--- That large of a plate and that big of a scar was definitely not the best way to do this. There are Dr's out there that could have done this through 3 little 1/2 inch incisions and not had to be so invasive. There are levels to the surgery game and nothing regulates any of it either. You really have to research your surgeons and find the best guy for what you want--- otherwise you get gutted like this... Its mostly because this dr is so young, but as he gets a lot older, he will have refined his work into "doing no harm" as they are supposed to.. My ex was a scrub tech for years, in the room everyday doing surguries with many different dr's and she had to learn everyone's different way of doing things--- and like I said, some are very good and do unbelivable things--- and others gut you and end up making mistakes and cut the wrong things and spend 3 extra hours on you fixing their mess up and you never even know about it... There's a secret world going on in that surgery room and its pretty crazy to hear the stories everyday that come out of them. So many wild things happened on a regular basis, it makes me not ever want to get cut on if I don't have to... Unless you REALLY know that surgeon.

@@mitchellbowman22 it absolutely is. They are all opiates. Some are just strong then others. Dilaudin is actually weak as hell. Fentanly. Oxycodone. Are way stronger and feel better. I know from experience. 3 years clean now

Tom, welcome to world of becoming a cyborg. Lol! I have a bunch of metal in my back. I will take having the metal in there as opposed to the pain I had before all the surgeries any day! What surgeons can do is amazing!

Tore my patella tendon 4 weeks ago dunking (10 foot hoop) horrible injury. Recovery process sucks more than any sports injury I’ve heard of. The idea of breaking your arm on top of that, is crazy. I had the 3 suture technique, doc said you need to generate 17x body weight in force production to tear a healthy patella ligament. Tom segura is a force! So glad i can laugh at this while immobilized.

This guy's a true water champ, won't let that bottle down for a second. Also I've seen a couple of these surgeries when I shadowed an orthopedic surgeon and it's way chiller than it sounds and looks. They put on their music and just slide put everything back, get the plate in and it's done.
