You've gotta see The Wraith & Ice Cream Man! They're excellent & please have Clint back on. I am a big fan of his work & have seen many interviews with him & believe me you didn't even scratch the surface of how interesting he is.
I hear you, it is very difficult to nail down Clint’s career in an interview as it is so massive. I finally saw the Wraith and enjoyed more than I thought I would. It is a blast from the past! Still have to check out Ice Scream Man👍
John Cato, Shawn Rhymes here. I really enjoyed your interview with Clint Howard. In another interview with him, somewhere else on UA-cam, he talked about his short piece in the movie: Night Shift. When Henry Winkler opened the drawer in the morg where a corpse is supposed to be, Clint Howard was in the drawer with a woman. That was a classic scene, I loved it. Thanks for the video. It would be nice if you could interview Scott Bakula.
Clint Howard has an incredible resume besides working with the smelly bear (lol). He is under appreciated as an actor who always delivered strong diverse performances. He has fabulous stories and needs to put them down on paper before they're lost. Thanks for sharing!
I couldn't agree more, Clint could easily write a book, he has so many different characters he has played and loves what he does. Glad you enjoyed the interview!
I have 3 younger brothers that I love, so hearing about the love between Clint and Ron warms my heart! Even in crazy "Hollywood," these guys remained "normal" and close. Kudos, gentlemen!
Another banger, John!👍 I watched Gentle Ben as a kid and have admired Clint's work ever since. I recall their dad, Rance Howard was also an actor and he and their mom always seemed like such down home folks. Apple's haven't fallen far from the trees, obviously!
Outstanding interview! I've always equated Rance, Ron and Clint to Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning. In 1999 after taping the "Donny & Marie Show", I fell asleep watching "The Waterboy" on a red-eye back to Philly. When I awoke, the stewardess retrieved her headphones and gave me back my ten dollars. ✈✈✈
Clint has such an incredible resume in his own right. I love Gentle Ben back in the day, and basically all of his other works. One of my favorites was back in 1978 called Cotton Candy where he plays an overly excited manager for a local rock band. Great interview, thanks!
Great interview, John! I loved Clint Howard, on “Gentle Ben”! I watched that show every week. He was also, funny as Leon on “The Andy Griffith Show” and he was funny in a episode of “Seinfeld” as well!
Another nice interview… Clint Howard is always been somebody you notice when he shows up in a film. But… After watching this interview I went and watched the ice cream man 1995 movie. What a hoot! But there was a star studded cast… Olivia, Hussey, Steve, Garvey, Jan, Michael, Vincent, Lee Majors jr to name a few. And Clint was fantastic! It’s free on some of the streaming sites.
He was a cute child in Andy griffith show with his peanut butter sandwich. 😃 And he played in Star Trek as balak, he was a captain of his ship. As a child actor.

It really is terrific the bond Clint’s parents formed as a safety net from Hollywood, so impressive!

Appreciate that very much, Clint couldn’t have been anymore sincere and fun. Range and his wife brought their kids up right with a strong work ethic.
Outstanding interview! I've always equated Rance, Ron and Clint to Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning.

My pleasure Bob, Clint just loves to act and create characters, no pretensions about him. So fun😀

Clint has been in so many movies and shows that he is a chameleon, what a character actor😀
Enjoyed this interview-I fondly remember watching "Gentle Ben" as a youngster.
Glad you enjoyed it Scott. Check out my interview with Beth Brickell, the mother on Gentle Ben, kinda cool to see the tow different perspectives.
great interview John❤
Thanks Debra!
Clint always seems like a genuinely nice guy. I particularly liked his performance in The ice cream man terrible movie great performance.
I agree very down to earth😀
I loved Gentle Ben too, never realized he was Ron Howard's brother at that time. Fantastic interview as always friend! Have missed your posts.

Love the Wraith!
I have to say the Wraith is pretty wild.
I remember him as a young child when he played an alien in Star Trek, the original series.
Clint played Balok on Star Trek and talks about in the interview. Pretty wild what he went through for the part😀
I met Clint Howard at comic con a Oscar winner legend
Very cool, I have met him as well and agree. Just a legend for sure.
Clint Howard has a hell of a resume'. This was an extremely interesting and entertaining interview. Nice job John.
Appreciate that very much😀Clint has a resume that goes on forever, just amazing!

Excellent.

Thank you so much! And if you’re in Oz, I am jealous as I truly love Aussie!
He is right...Broccoli Pizza! who would order that??! Ha!
Good interview. Enjoyed it. Well done, John.
I can see Leon offering you a pbj sandwich.
Thanks Andy and love the Leon line😂
He was a cute child in Andy griffith show with his peanut butter sandwich. 😃 And he played in Star Trek as balak, he was a captain of his ship. As a child actor.
He talks about both of those moments in his life in the interview 😀
This should’ve gone on another hour ❤👍
Appreciate that Christopher, Clint has so many great stories!
I have always watched 👀 your movies 🎬 🎞 #ClintHoward❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am sure Clint will love that!
Loved Gentle Ben. Clint was on the Patty Duke show for one episode (when PD was 18). What was she like to work with?
Sorry I can't ask him since the interview is over. Enjoy the interview though.
Clint´s THE MAN.
GENTLE BEN was called here in Brazil, BEN, THE FRIENDLY BEAR...quite successful, by the way.
That is very cool😀
I love ❤️ this because I was in Happy Day's with #RonaldWilliamHoward
Very cool!
"This is Tranya. I hope you relish it as much as I."
He actually says that line in the interview, it was so fun to hear him say it!😂
