Hey Gayle. Your video was great. However, I've got a few chronic problems and was wondering if you could help with these. I've got Epilepsy (which is genetic) and so I find that my attention span is tiny because I can't focus on one thing or another due to my medication. And I've also got PTSD, which has caused me to have a messy house - due to my violent ex-bf being a neat freak and a control freak too. A much as I've tried, I can't seem to get the details of my decluttering complete. Can you help me with this please?
As someone with severe ADHD, I was disappointed with this video. ADHD has three subtypes - inattentive, hyperactive and combined type. To work with the disorder, it's important to know what the strengths and limitations are for each and how they affect your everyday life. Someone who is inattentive would most likely work well while organizing in 30 minute increments with time for breaks and refocusing. Someone who is hyperactive might do best with an entire day for organizing, but with an outline to keep them on task. People like me, someone with combined type ADHD might work in increments but be able to plan an entire day towards organizing but need a list to stay on task. It's been said that an ADHD brain is like a Ferrari with Ford brakes, and I believe it. We can get organized, and stay that way, but we need to look at our individual challenges as it is a varied disorder. Over generalized advice doesn't work, and can frustrate people with ADHD.
ok i have adhd. And this video is so boring, that even though i have tried watching it 5 times now, i cannot get through it. if you know anything about adhd besides trying to read lines from help guides, then do this interesting. This video is made in the worst way possible for adhd people. and as this is my first introduction to your channel, it does not give me hope at all, that you know what you are talking about.
I think this video was great! She kept it short and simple but on point! Thanks for sharing!
Could you please tell me the name of the apps. Thanks for sharing
