In less than 2 years, the Marcos Administration already approved more than 450 power service contracts, most of which are in renewables.
The approval of many of those power service contracts were pending for years. Some, even for more than a decade.
Now, a lot of those service contracts are already in various stages of development/construction in different parts of the country
Marcos Jr understands very well how important a stable and cheap electricity is to the Country's economic progress, job creation, and in easing the burden of every Filipino household-rich or poor.
Just 4 days ago, Marcos Jr witnessed the signing of a 400 megawatt solar power project in the Province of Isabela (Region 2).

In my parent's home province, a solar power farm is currently being built. Once finished, it would supposedly become the world's largest solar farm.

It's right for the Philippines to enjoy the resources of the West Philippine Sea before the demand and price for oil declines.
It's not China's business to explore those waters.

renewable energy development also impact greatly the environment of host country. hopefully this consideration would also have factored into the making of these projects.

Mindanao has significant potential for developing geothermal and hydroelectric energy generation to meet future industrial demand. Mindanao sits on the Pacific Ring of Fire, making it ideal for expanding geothermal energy production. Mindanao's abundant rivers and waterfalls offer good potential for hydropower. However, responsible development is crucial to avoid environmental impact.

With investing in Renewable energy the Phillipines could export a lot of energy to neighboring countries that have a big industrial output like Vietnam, Malaysia or Indonesia and even big spenders like South Korea and Japan

Would you rather have one monopoly? If there are more sources of energy it can only means one thing it is more competitive. Therefore more selection to choose. And how about nuclear power plant, it can also help

🇵🇭 I have new invention that could lights up all the over the world for about FREE of bills.
The only thing that prevents me to release my invention it's because of fear that i would become a great problem to those who are doing business in electric power industry.
Actually i decided to sell my invention at the amount of 5 million US Dollar rathan to become a famous inventor as being ultimate inventor of the world for Free Electric Power generation.

Research first bruh, only the likes of Iceland can make use of Geothermal right now because they only need to dig 4km deep to get energy, while others need to dig 10km+.
If majority of first world nations can't do it, why can Philippines?
