One tiny feature I like about the River 2 is the ability to charge it using the USB-C port.

Hey great video. I did somewhat the same thing to power my RV off grid. My RV is a 2019 Geo Pro 12SRK, no air conditioner. I live in northern Alberta and heat is more important to me than having air, lol. The RV is 12 feet in length, 20,000 btu furnace, electric/gas water heater, max-air fan, 3 cube 3-way fridge, 22” TV, a stereo, a microwave, a few 110 volt and some USB outlets. It has a 100 watt solar on the roof, GoPower factory installed with controller and 2 group 24 batteries with a combined 160 ah. I don’t take them below 50% so I only have 80 ah to use. Here’s what I did. I plugged in my Allpowers S2000 with 1500 watts of battery capacity, 2000-watt inverter into my RV 30 amp connection. I then turned my battery disconnect off; this isolated my batteries as the solar is directly connected to the 12-volt batteries. With the solar controller the batteries stay charged and with the disconnect off, the batteries don’t drain. I have a 200-watt and a 100-watt solar panels that I connect in parallel to the solar generator. If I use the microwave (1100 watts) I only use it for a few minutes at best. At night I put away the solar generator and panels and turn the disconnect back on with a fully charged batteries. So, I can use the solar generator at home during power outages if needed as well as powering other items, air fryer, instant pot etc. I do 90% off grid camping so I wanted to make sure I had power. I used to have what they call power anxiety but not no more, lol. My RV, while on the solar generator only used 35 watts. When the furnace kicks in it goes to 65 watts, when I use it. Anyway, sorry for the long-winded explanation. Thanks for the info and happy camping. 👍 ⛺

I have a 2kw bluetti that I keep inside my rig. I drilled a hole through the inside of the shore power cord compartment and run shore power inside and into my bluetti. The bluetti recharges by solar mounted on the roof. I boondock almost exclusively, and always have "shore" power.

I just got the Delta pro with shore power outlet so I can plug my tiny small motor home into because I am going to be living in it off grid full time I bought the 400 watt solar panel and really hope its enough
How much solar panel do you use??

@carolmaplesden916 I have 500w on the roof. It really depends how much power you use, and how much sun you get. If your power consumption isn't high, 400w should be fine, assuming you are in a good solar area.

@@carolmaplesden916 the Delta has a great feature, you will learn to love :-) - get yourself a small generator (Pure sinus, Inverter type, just powerfull enough to charge the Delta), and connect it to the Delta on cloudy days to charge the batteries - It needs about an hour to charge the batteries, and then You can shut it off. Use propane to power anything which uses heat (stove and refridgerator included) - This has been working for me the last 8 years ;-) 400 Watt of solar will get You far, but You might run out of power bc of the size of the batteries ;-)

I have a bigger travel trailer and I need two of the 400 watt panels. I work full time remotely, and use a big e-bike. 600 watts in is usually enough to give me some good electronic luxury.

Awsome. I just purchased one of these. I already have the ecoflow 110w solar panels.. updated version.. that I use for my anker 548. This will def be our go to when camping. We tent camp tho, lol. Def will have enough juice for all the kids electronics.

This is such a good idea! I have the ALLPOWERS brand of solar generator and have it set up inside with a hole out to put in the portable solar panels I have. It also a 30amp plug for my RV in it. So I am going to work off your concept! Thank you!

I like the size of that River 2 because it does not take up a lot of space in your RV.

Hey I've been following you for a long time. I'm also an RVer. Also the same Apex Off Grid unit. The critical components here on any RV are the fridge (on propane most cases, but still requires 12V for the controls), the water pump and the heater, also requiring 12V. The last things on anyone's mind are the lights or fans. So of interest is how long it could supplement the RV batteries if needed. I couldn't care less for TV or else.

You can wire directly to your fuse panel and then plug into your Solar Generator 12 volt

Aside from the 5 year warranty, it has a 3000 charge cycle that equates to about 10 years of use.

Looks pretty good in your RV. I am digging the 60 minute charge time which is quite fast.

It does look like the fastest charging power station since it only needs 60 minutes to fully charge.

I own the eco flow but you 100 percent can run all your appliances off of soalr alone.. you simply add more solar panels and make sure your batteries are set up for the voltage you need. I use my eco flow for hikes where i charge ddome and camera batteries

How’s this set up 1 year later. Any untoward events? What’s going to happen if your forgot to turn off the main, gfi & the refrigerator/converter breaker?
    Thanks.

    UPS:
    It is a EPS.
The reason it's a EPS and not a UPS is that it switches over to slowly to be a UPS.
If you use it as EPS with a Desktop Computer, you will lose your progress.
However, it works just fine with anything else that doesn't need a constant power.

Kewl but it's an over prised Trailer with Over Prised Panel...... The River is the only thing worth buying but the Bluetti Equivalent is the same prise as the EcoFlo with 2X the power output and 2X the Solar input with the same battery 🔋 chemistry with better efficiency..... Bluttie EB3A is a better deal.
