First time i ever seen or heard Warren was in 84 when RATT played the Rock palace. I was immediately impressed with Warren's playing, his tone and the band. Warren was using two 100 watt Laney AOR stacks and sounded killer! You can see this show here on YT search RATT at the rock palace there is a Pro shot video of the show. Warren is ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥
This is great… I bought that EP the day it came out. I think it was 20 years old. I thought Warren was the best guitar player I had heard in a while big fan till this day. He’s still great.
JAS !!!! Thanks sooooo much for uploading all of these great interviews , thanks for these ! Love the Warren & Robbin Interviews , The Eddie Van Halen Interviews , The Yngwie Interviews
All these interviews are awesome. And just like the guitar mags back in the day, they’re honest & mostly just focusing on the music. I bought a ton of rock mags back in the day, and with hindsight now, I realise how much BS I was fed.
I was fortunate enough to see them on their first tour when they came through Louisville. I think they opened up for Blackfoot. They were awesome. I also got to see Mötley Crüe when they opened up for Aussie outside of freedom Hall in Louisville and Tommy had his drum set up like Tommy Altridge, where all the symbols were flat at different levels. It was one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen. It’s too bad they’ve become What Mötley Crüe has turned into lately…. They should just retire I
Hahaha every guitarist ripped Eddie off as well as all the other great innovative greats back then and today! Warren has become one of those that many try to copy as well! I love all aspects of his playing!
@ didn’t know that slash, Kurt cobain, and Josh homme ripped off Eddie. Thought it was just a bunch of 2nd rate rock bands that largely made up the hair metal era! (=
@TylerDonald-b2x once in awhile some great and innovative artists coma along and change the style and scene and push the ceiling of guitar playing to great lengths! I like Slash Kurt and Josh but imo Warren is a lot different than Eddie in a blind test I could tell which one was playing as well as the difference between Slash, Kurt, Josh
Ohhhh definitely that's the thing in the beginning you more or less are trying to find your own style and Warren imo is one of the Greatest riff and rhythm players to come out of the 80s!

Funny how Warren an Stephen have the same story about a bike accident
I heard that Warren came from a very wealthy family. Always the best gear available.
First rate Eddie rip off
