    I did this 6 years ago using pencils and rubber bands women are so resourceful we will figure out how to do what we want

    Very helpful .. I wanted to do mini twists with added hair but I only had straight braiding hair. I just tried this and it worked! Thank you

    I couldn't get hard straws also so I inserted tiny sticks inside my soft straws and they became hard straws ...lol

    Just a tip I also saw Loveths video... If you can't get hard straws you could still use the soft straws by inserting two broom sticks into it...I tried it and it worked just fine

    I really really need to try this. That straw method was so discouraging to me but now that i know there is another way, i'd definitely go and get some barbeque sticks. Thanks for this video

    i also saw lovely speaks video and couldnt find the hard straws. i used sticks too like you did but i still used the bobby pins and was pretty successful but next time i am going to try rubber bands like you did because i was a tiny bit of a struggle to get the bobby pins to stay on.

    I tried working with straw and just couldn't do it cuz the straw not strong enough. Was planning to use a skewer and this video pop up. Thanks for sharing.

    I’m also kinda frustrated here cos I was only able to find 2 packs of the hard straw you talked about. And I have just been able to do only 12 as a result of limited hard straw🤩

    Can you do it without turning to fill the spaces? Any specific reason because the turning part seem to give a funny noticeable coil. Please advise.

    Here in the states I found my bbq sticks for a dollar a pack at the dollar store here called dollar general or dollar tree. Can I do medium twist with these sticks?

      The twist won’t come out the same, I right twist also, but it doesn’t look beautiful on passion twist, so I had to do it the other way.

    I ran and got myself some barbeque sticks mehn, if you're in Nigeria you can get it for 500naira for 50 sticks at ShopRite

    Does the size of the sticks matter? Cos Some barbecue sticks are really skinny and others are quite thick

      It doesn’t matter as long as is strong enough to hold the hair.

      You have little space left for another stick, it also depends on how long your twist are.
