I am back with another hair video. I will be showing you how I make cheap and quick spring twists for under R130.
This method uses straws, hot water kanekalon hair (5 packs), thread and hot water. The springs twists come out beautiful and bouncy. Guess what? The spiral curly pattern does not fade.

Yes you can use them for faux locs

Hie. I got them at a random Spaza shop (tuckshop)
What inch hair was use and was it cut in half ?
It's 20 inch Kanekalon hair and I didn't cut it in half.

3 hours. The wrapping is definitely tedious

Please how long can it last when used on the hair
It lasts as long as normal spring twist. Maybe a month. I did distressed locs with my spring twist and it lasted about 2 months
Wat do u mean by hot water braid?
It's any type of staight braid extension that curls when you put it in hot water eg Xpression or one milluon braid.
Are these just regular drinking straws?
Yes Hun. They are regular plastic drinking straws

Yes Hun. They were regular straws
How long did it stay in the hot water
Literally seconds maybe 30seconds. It really doesnt matter as long as the braiding Hair gets dipped in hot water. ❤️
Can I use any hair oil?
Yes Hun you can use any hair oil that doesn't dry up. I mainly did it for a nice shiny finish and to reduce frizz.

Can I use Flexi rods
You can. However the curl pattern will be different. The curls will be slightly bigger❤️
How much did you cut one pack into?
I did not cut the Kanekalon hair. I used it as is. And 1 pack made about 15 to 18 apeing twists.

I have used them. I have vids when I have butterfly locs/ faux locs, I used the spring twists I made. Here is. A link so you can see the hair.

For a wig, I advise that you crochet the hair before you surl it. Then curl it after.
