I'm glad Chris Lake is still going strong. I remember back in the day one of his first ever releases was just based on 3 samples from the Battery plugin default kit and it was a banger.
@@skum73 I do as a matter of fact 😀. I looked it up on Discogs after I made this comment. It’s Chris Lake - To The Point (BSOD Remix). Killer track from years ago.
Hell Yeah I really like the way your editing skills improved in the last months! The zoom into the effects bar and avoiding to have the pip above important things - i really appreciate that 🙂 As I'm very much into the oldschool vibe I'd love if you could show us to create some proper piano chords like in Liquids sweet Harmony ;-) Amen brother!
Hey Will. I know this is a two year old video and you may not see this comment but I believe a Casablanca tutorial or a Zonderling tutorial would be primo, I notice they both use Automation in really fantastic ways... In Casablancas new song Terminal Feeling there's this elongeted synth thing that then turns into the rhythmic heart of the song and I think its just awesome and can't for the life of me figure it out lol, anyways cheers very much for all the content you put out, it really helps the community out big time!
Hi WIll. At last, I can now load more than 10 plugins without my CPU catching fire. Built a new PC, Ryzen 5950x, 64GB ram. Killer. I also treated myself to a Stream Deck xl and an x-touch.
This is such a helpful tutorial. I've been walking through it step-by-step! Thank you so much. I did have one qeustion. When you side chained the ride symbol, the input was to an SC track, but I didn't quite follow what the "SC" track was? Sorry if this is a "no duh" question, just a bit of a noob. Awesome video overall, and I really like your teaching style. So fun and laid back. Amen brother!
@@EDMTips Matroda, James Hype, Dale Howard? I was curious if I can reasonably substitute wavetable with synth(s), as I use Ableton 10 intro, standard, suite are quite expensive for me now, as well as vts plugins like serum. I know it's quite challenging as not always free plugins work because of intro version. I'd appreciate if you could highlight low level sound design with Ableton. Thanks!
Yeah these are getting better dude and they were good already. I listen to them while I am working and they are great for giving me ideas for when I get home, Thanks
Brilliant Will!! your tutorials are always sooo helpful and entertaining as well. love it!! the Tea vocals are so good!! hahaha "gonna make these sound even wierder if you thought it was possible" lol too funny.... Thanks!! :-D
Hey! ThQ and ThQ very much for your videos! it helped me a lot learning how to work with Ableton. I would like to suggest, if you could show us how you can build Oriental Techno Musik with Ableton :) Keep on Going!
I´d love if you´d shed some light on G-house. Tracks by Martin Horger or Brandon for example (or even their collab). I feel like G-house gets more and more fusion with Tech house and therefore might even be the next step in the evolution of tech house. The track you took as inspiartion for this video (a drug from god) has strong G-house elements but uses also a lot of tech house vibes/technics... Would love if you´d do a tutorial in style of "Brandon - shades on" or anything thats real G-sh!t XD.
Also if you did a tutorial in the style of Left/Right, that would be AWESOME!!!! He is such an amazing artist. I love his dark grimey bass heavy breakbeats!!!
Hi Will.. you not into psytrance? Maybe get inspiration by Bansuri from Electric Universe ?.. Hmmm? Something different for you. What I like about this music are the mantra's..
I really liked the video and the song. Is it fair to say that this is for those more advanced in using ableton? I ask because he was flicking through screens like everyone watching knows how to do it. I was also following along with my ableton and quite a bit of stuff just did not look the same lol. Maybe I have to go and do a simpletons course somewhere and come back...
It's always a good day when you drop a Tech House video!!
Enjoy!
I'm glad Chris Lake is still going strong. I remember back in the day one of his first ever releases was just based on 3 samples from the Battery plugin default kit and it was a banger.

@@evankillilea I think yes …. maybe you have bounce some parts of the track 😉
Could you tell us this again so I could write this down
