If you notice almost every big play he had came when the field was cut in half and he had a 1-2 reads or take off. That's a nice way to let your young QB gain confidence for the season.
Nice win, Penn State needs to replace their FG kicker though. Can’t be missing those gimme points. Can make the difference in winning or losing a game.

WE averaged 5 yards a carry and by them stacking the line, young Drew Allar showed out, and threw for over 300 yards, 72 percent completion percent and 3 touchdowns and no turnovers!!!! WE ARE 🏈

The pass blocking wasn't very good, but it wasn't great against Purdue last year. Trying to open up Week 1 against a decent power 5 team is a tough challenge for any o line, except for Michigan
