I doubt the UK will be too bad at least in the first term. Their Labour party is now too in the centre for anything to explode. and then after that the Tories should be a stronger opposition next time round.

Why are tax payers still paying for Tana's lucrative salary when she was not elected, she is a list MP. Being kicked out of a party, should also mean being kicked out of Parliament for a list MP, not an elected MP though...

If you do that your list of places not to go would encompass a majority of countries and would have to be very long indeed.
My experience working and living in over eight different countries, some of them despotic, others post conflict (UN NGO) is you need to go and see for yourself and talk to the people.

Cutting through the background noise. Is it OK for an MP who entered Parliament through the list vote, (I.e. they personally were not voted for but their party was) to go and join another party, thus altering the proportionality that the electorate voted for? To me this undemocratic.
This is the bottom line. All the other issues re reports etc is just the normal background noise of politics sometimes fair sometimes unfair, the political arena is tough place.
