Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been looking all over for a distal fibula non surgical case and finally found one. Gives me motivation to press on!
Just a reminder folks, It's not a competition! It can take a minimum of 3 months and if you take longer that's okay. There will be stiffness & swelling! Everybody is different, listen to your body.
You're right, each fracture is different and people should always do what their doctors say. The case I show in my video was a very mild injury so recovery is not always so quick and smooth
@@Justcillin10 That's normal. The swelling is no joke either. I got a massage gun and that has been helping with any scar tissue issues on my ankle. Just keep walking and stretching and massaging. I am back to playing tennis, my mobility isn't the same.
Yes, every single Fracture/Break is different, I am now coming into 5th month since my very small fissure, the way I fell what happened with my right foot has left me with still having to use a walking aid and the pain in my ligaments and tendons is at times very painful... Yes exercise yes doing everything I was given, now I shall get to see a Traumatologist Urgent....As it seems there is a issue with my left foot...So more x-ray last week on both feet, now my Head Dr cannot send me for Ultrasound scan etc only the Traumatologist can . 5 months later. I am now using Castor oil 24/7 and hoping and praying this works. I don't take pharmaceutical drugs, even when I fell and caused the fracture.... No creams have worked, so I am giving this beautiful plant oil a try...It may take 24/7 for 3/4 weeks but I shall do whatever it takes to get back to walking correctly and driving. When you have no income and the tiny pension doesn't even pay rent, yes need to earn again and not have to ask for help from family and friends. Everytime i get out of bed the blood rushes to the swelling area intensifying the pain… for now i can only move my right foot down and side ways but not up… Every-time i try moving it up i feel as if a bone is impeding the movement
@@VideosBanales - I had a trimalleolar fracture which means 3 separate breaks in the ankle. The accident will have been four months ago this week. I am walking (and have been for awhile) without crutches. My walk looks fairly normal. I still have periods of achiness in my ankle/foot. I still tire more easily. And there continues to be very noticeable swelling in my ankle/foot. My orthopedic surgeon says that it may take a year before I am 100% back to normal.
