That was awesome. herO showed great patience...something not all Protoss have. Usually, down here in Diamond 2, we try to hit Zerg with a powerful rush, or if the Zerg goes Roach, we go double Robo with sentries. Lurkers are the bane of PvZ, I feel. I've had good success with Phoenix or disruptors too in dealing with Lurkers. I have never seen Tempest, or even thought of Tempest vs Zerg because I assumed it would be too micro-intensive, and I thought that they would just go mass Corruptor, and you die. But, how herO handles Reynor's stuff here is really neat. He shows such patience, and his control is super precise. He puts Reynor on his back foot, and from the moment he repelled Reynor's Lurker push, the game was in herO's court. Really well played.
Whenever I try to do this the vipers take all my stuff and kill me lol. Microing that army is tricky you have to have constant revelations on the Zerg and not lose the oracles it’s hard. Especially if the Zerg ambushes you when your revelation runs out.
I love these kinds of videos, they're a must-watch for me. Became a fan of yours after BGE Stara Zagora, it was awesome seeing your games live from the crowd
I have come to think, after watching so many her0 PvZ games, that her0 intentionally leaves a gap for zergling runbys. He always handles them with minimal losses and then swiftly strikes back at the zerg who now wishes they had the dozen lings they just lost, so her0 gets much bigger damage done. I honestly don't think it's just him being sloppy. It's just her0 calling the zerg to FAFO.
@@Overgis4058 a professional player doesn't just "not care". He's honing his skills for hours every day and actively decides what to practice. If keeping his wall blocked, something every bronze level protoss learns the hard way, is not on his priority list, then it's not there on purpose ;)
I feel like showtime and neeb have been playing similar styles over the years. The difference is that hero got tempest waay earlier and he had more archons instead of disruptors/immortals. I wonder if this zerg could've just broken this with ling, infestor and blinding cloud instead of abducts. Basically herOs siege was strong because of his air units, his fight capabilities was strong because of archons. Raynor could have picked the weaker aspect (ground) and busted it. Instead of trying to defend a siege with abduct corruptor.
Yeah, the key to breaking this armies is always breaking in on the ground, and after overwhelming with corruptors, coz protoss air can't fight against them.
Thank you for another video but this is not guide. this can copy only like 20 people in whole World. 1) 7:10 4 nexus and hold that push from Reynor is just wtf. Like how? 2) Only 2 players in the World can consistently win lategame PvZ :) im 5100 I cant :( Just look 15:00 and his camera and micro just insane 3) you need 3-4 controls and really miсro all 3 (Stalkers Oracles and tempest and later storms)
Well, depends who you are playing right. Vs Serral no toss would feel confident probably, but using these ideas you can definitely beat 5100 zergs in macro ;)

Which is ironic, because Hero tends to be de attack dog of protoss, while showtime or stats are the more patient, controlled players.

Yeah, it's very hard, I agree. But once you master it, it becomes very hard for zerg!
These analytical videos are solid gold! Looking forward to the next one!

Thank you! Glad to have you here :)
Love watching your analytical videos, Skillous!
Woot back again with another banger

I dont think it's necessarily done ON PURPOSE, but I do feel like he just doesn't care.

Not the case in this game for sure. If he wouldn't get counter damage he would be very dead.

Dont be afraid to add your thoughts in the add why you think its powerful, we saw why but good to hear it in your words
Isn't the commentary I do my thought on why it's powerful?
Great video ❤

15:48 Reynor lost the game right there, when he put the zerglings on hold position, and they didn't attack anything ;-)
Hard to micro everything everywhere in such high stakes match!
