Brahman is in primordial state of sat chit ananda. When human want to liberate himself it see it as such. But when we start talking about creation of the world we hear that brahman become bored... how is possible that sat chit ananda become bored?
Even I had the same kind of doubt. If Maya wasnt there it will be end of sufferings like war, murder robbery, sexual abuse, etc. People will have no fear, no intention to cheat others, there would have been no sign of 7sins. No bad Karma, this bad karma has cummulative effect and people are fell into vicious circle.
Why prolific teachers like swamiji need approval or support of quran; Quran says in 9:29 Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, nor comply with what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture,1 until they pay the tax, willingly submitting, fully humbled. A religion directing to fight those who do not believe in Quranic concepts , has been attempted to be equated with Vedanta, is really saddening;
In reference to what he referred to as in the Quran: He qualified it at the end by saying: "Of course, that is the non-dual interpretation". He was saying that the reality is One, God has no partners; it only appears that God has partners (shirk) to those who still have deluded minds. Personally I do not have such a deep seeing and understanding of what all is involved with appearances verses the One Reality but at least that is the in it said mainly from an intellectual view rather than the view from One God.
