Never stop learning and improving, that’s the only way how you can gain and maintain your clients. Be organized, don’t loose connection with people that were interested in PT, just at that moment they could not commit. Learn how to do proper consultation and assessment session.Make it customized, personal, there is no one size fits all, you are dealing with humans, not cars. Learn how to work on objections. Role play all the time!!! In front of the mirror, with your FM, other PT’s, just role play!!!!! Call, don’t text! 5min before session, come to the front desk or at the entrance and wait and welcome your client. Know client b day, give him free session.Introduce your clients to each other, build feeling of community. Ask for referrals. If you don’t know how to prospect, change career. I apologize for my comment that is not strictly related to video, just I have been in industry for a while and it is unbelievable how many PT’s don’t know the basics.
Glad I’m already doing most of these. To me I believe if you truly care about the client you’ll do this stuff automatically. I have the warm up built into the training and that varies from day to day depending on the client’s readiness. But we don’t have any cooldowns unless you count the 10 minutes of talking and going over what they liked/hated about the session as a cooldown.
Thank you for creating this channel Jeff and for posting great content. I have enjoyed every video I watched so far! Very informative content explained in a simple way :)
As a client? I would say mostly yes. Mostly because there are things that I generally avoid talking about with clients..generally the things that you wouldn’t bring up in normal conversation.
Your channel deserves thousands more followers! Thanks for the work you put in and the content you share to help other/new trainers! Much appreciated!
Thank you very much! I really appreciate that!
