I found this helpful. Agreed with the comment about the plastic grill needing to go in at once. For me, It was helpful to make sure the bottom was started first just slightly. Also, needle-nose pliers may be helpful (be careful, it's plastic.)

Very informative video. IT is the longer but simpler method rather than going through the wheel well (which only works if you are Gumby!). Nice touch to include the torx sizes too!
My hands are smaller and still would not fit through the access hole to the bulb. I used this method and changed the bulb easily. The hardest part for me was reinstalling the grill. You have to line the grill up evenly and push it in so that the top and bottom tabs all pop in simultaneously. Overall the project went very well.

There is a way to access the DRL bulb from inside the wheel well but is very difficult. This takes longer but saves some frustration.

What year make a new mode is the car?
What is the model of the light bulb?

Now I know how to change that little bulb. Why they make it so complicated!
There is another way ro replace the buld. Turn whele to.the left and u will find small cover over the tire. Remove it and u will find acces to the bulb.
What year Passat is this please?
