I feel like the solution that would solve a lot of issues is to just ban people who have had any sort of cosmetic surgery. Whether that be nose-job, lip filler, breast implants, or ‘facial feminization surgery’, doing so would not only prevent biological men from competing (or at least, winning), but also preserve the integrity and importance of natural beauty.
yeah that would reduce the competition heavily like i mean heavily you who how common it is for women to change something in their face its so common and imagine the models lol but hopefully they are natuarl its more impressive

First Blue eyed blonde in 20 years. Statistically it should be rare, although for Miss Universe, you would think rare would stand out as Beautiful more often. Fewer than 2% of women have blonde hair.
Well, miss Nicaragua, the one from last year is also a biological woman....but happy that at least still they pick a woman in this to win after a crazy year...
There was never a transgender Miss Universe winner though, if I recall correctly. Last year’s winner from Nicaragua was a beautiful biological woman as well but I didn’t see a video like this.
Yup. No trans has ever won. Also, 3 blondes have won major pageants in the last 2 years. MISS world and Miss Earth. They didn't make any of these videos did they? This is just to reinforce their delusions.
@ Yeah, same here. I know this is a conservative channel and I do happen to be a centrist so I do expect a bias, but lazy journalism and blatantly ignoring information that could be easily researched just to fit an agenda is super icky. She did this before with the Qatar World Cup Opening Ceremony video as well. Conservatives blame liberals for misinformation (and very rightly so) but they’re engaging in it too in order to fit a pretty irrelevant bias (most white people don’t even have blonde hair and blue eyes, let alone the general population so how was this a race issue or so-called weird beauty standards.)
She never said a trans man won miss universe, she clearly said miss america. Blatantly omitting facts so you can be outraged by a "lie" that's never been said... You voted for Kamala, right?
Sadly, part of the point of this show was to call out how an unhealthy obese nurse and also a transvestite placed in the top 20 last year after two years ago a transvestite bought the competition and rigged it to let genetic men in if they filled out paperwork to force others to say they are whatever they claim to be. There were actually more then one biological men competing against the biological women for Miss Universe in 2023. This stuff just steals from natural women, should the other women also take hormones to compete? No! Congratulations to Miss Palacios. 💐
And the year prior, USA won! 100% of the winners are biological females. I don't get why some are so excited, aside from having a blond as a winner this year.

What's crazy and genuinly pisses me off is how MOTHERS weren't allowed to compete. And if "discovered" they would be disqualified. Yet...trans women were allowed? Like what
It is harder for a mother if she doesn't have the youth, to compete in this kind of competition, but certainly not impossible. I actually reallly like young mothers, it is (biologically) superior to get children at a younger age than is normal now in society. Mothers also gain some mental toughness benefits, especially if they are younger and recover easily from the pregnancy and childbirth. (and the lack of sleep after)
@pinobluevogel6458 Oh, come on. That's just ageist, there a ton of beautiful mothers out there. The whole point of those beauty pageants is yes...for the money, but some provide scholarships. That money could help the winners a lot.
I'm a regular Miss Universe pageant fan who catches up with other national and international pageants. I'm not sure if this is even news. Miss Universe has always crowned authentic women and nothing has changed lol Special shoutout to Pia Wurtzbach (MU2015 from Philippines), Iris Mittenaere (MU2016 from France), and Catriona Gray (MU2018 from Philippines). Few of the most peak of women that were crowned in the late 2010s.

Right?! It has been women who is winning for a long time now, there was one trans i remember joining but they didn't win. All are diverse and from different background so i don't get the over hype.

Yeah i'm a pageantry fan. this is nothing new, Brett. In fact, last year, Miss Nicaragua (2023) was crowned Miss Universe and she was pretty young when she won as well (around 21 I believe). She's a controversial figure back in Nicaragua as she's against the dictadorial government and thus she has been barred to enter her own country. In 2022, Miss USA won as Miss Universe (around 28). Her win on the national competition was deemed controversial as well, they have to take her prize and everything she won because she allegedly paid to win the crown. Investigation proved the alleged accusations wrong and she even proved herself as she was crown on the international stage. One of the best Q&A answers this past decade. In 2021, Miss India won as Miss Universe. Along with Miss USA was the most outspoken queen and in fact she advocates for menstrual health and a lot of causes. I could go on and on... simply all winners of Miss Universe are women biologically. This phenomena of this fat-acceptance and trans-acceptance is just starting now as more pageants are becoming more open with their rules. Miss Universe is one of them, allowing trans women, fat women, married women, and women regardless of their age to compete.
I'm pretty doubtful that a non-biological women is gonna win Miss Universe anytime soon tbh, even under a new transgender ownership post Paula Shugart. It's gonna take a weak batch of women contestants for a transgender to take the crown home. Now with mothers allowed in the competition, bringing with them their years of experience, the bar is really high. If I'm not mistaken, Venezuela reaching Top 5 this year is a mother, and she was very phenomenal! (The translator kinda screwed her up during live imo)
There was not really any controversy about the new Miss Universe having blonde hair and blue eyes right after the win, just some feeling like the winner should have been Nigeria or another, just the usual pageant drama. The real controversy started when the CEO said that “blonde and blue eye” features were the ultimate evolution of beauty for Miss Universe. The CEO and president also reposting that “finally it was a biological woman and an attractive woman or woman of healthy weight” really put down other winners of the past, who were also all biological woman and attractive and diverse. Also, the reason that a blonde and blue eyed European has not won Miss Universe in a while is because pageantry is not that big in Europe, hence the contestant that have come from Europe, regardless of race and features, have not been able to compete with contestants from the Americas, South Africa and Asia where pageantry has a bigger following and higher standard for winning. Fans love seeing diversity of beauty and women of all races and we were excited with Denmark and Finland because we finally had blonde and blue eyed contestants that had a chance. However, as the competition progressed from prelims to finals, they were not performing as expected and Finland got eliminated first after top 30, and then Denmark only gave an okay swimsuit performance but was pushed into top 12 and top 5 with her face card and it felt like she was gifted the crown. Pageantry has been welcoming of all kinds of beautiful features, it’s just that fans are having an allergic reaction at the blatant promotion of certain features over others. If the win was a slam dunk, and not just a prize for being the first competent blonde and blue contestant in a long while, it would have been more satisfying.

Okay, and even with all that you said regarding 2023, still a biological woman from Nicaragua won the pageant. She was beautiful and smart. Agreed. Title is also degrading. There are many beautiful biological women from across the world that compete every year in the pageants. Sure there are cherry-picked, highlighted exceptions, but for the most part the exceptions are not the norm. Funny how 'normalcy' seems to be blonde to Brett, but the average, natural biological woman doesn't have blonde hair and blue eyes at birth to begin with. Just as the label 'POC' grew to mean not white, and it's asks you to see the white as the other. Rather, no one seems to ask why use labels that don't match any of our actual skin tones, assumes our unique biology, and divides people who grew up under the same flag. Instead, we gleefully take on the label. I realized early with some critical thought that "black" would eventually mean I had to replace my actual good lived experience for a struggle anecdote. I had to assign slavery onto all my ancestors and put whatever black is above God. Hence why even devoted black Christian will vote for 9 month abortion just to stay loyal to skin folk. Of course Brett, even though she has neither blonde hair or blue eyes, is excited a white woman is being celebrated. She probably feels as though white women deserve more praise. As long as you see those women by their color, how many non whites until we need more representation again? We gave blacks a trillion dollars of tax money to fix the "black condition". Why didn't it work? Maybe the answer was to say Americans are Americans, and only less intelligent people are still trying to gauge a person's whole life by skin pigmentation.
I have a few points here 1 Brett's happiness of her being blond and blue eyed is because of the anti white agenda that's being happening for years now. 2 Miss nigeria is not deserving to even being in top 10 let alone winning the universe. She got to top purely due to political reasons, if you know her story before the pagent you will know.
Not a great take. Miss universe winner has always been objectively gorgeous. Not white in the last decade but it’s just a representation of what is trending and honestly latinas and asians have been the standard of beauty the last decade
Standard of beauty is one thing, the only reason European winners have been far and few in between, is because latina and asian representatives have had better preparation and overall support from their national teams.
I never comment and generally agree with most of Brett's takes, but this video was not it...specially calling out the comments in 5:26 that DEFINITELY imply that other years' MU were not women; as other commenters have said, MU WINNERS have always been biological women so this IS dismissive to past years' winners. Not cool.
Brett I love you but the first trans woman to compete in Miss.Universe was in the 2018 competition, and it only increased since, BUT, only biological women have been winning Miss.Universe. The owner also got in trouble because there was a video leaked of her having a meeting saying "they can compete but they cannot win" in regards to trans women but also plus size women, mothers and older women. I do understand why Victoria winning means a lot to us all, she is deserving and she's definitely a symbol of hope for us, her background and story is truly inspiring. I would love it if you would cover her story and win even more. ❤
Kudos to Brett’s fanbase for calling her out on her bullshit for this one. I’m all for the common sense party but I’m glad other ppl noticed something fishy with this video lol
Who cares if she's blonde? Blondes are relatively rare, so of course it wouldn't happen very often. (Or they'd have dyed their hair) The fact that she's a woman is the important thing here. That's what beauty pageants have always been about. Women. NATURAL beauty. EDIT: Looks like last year's winner was a real woman too. You're a bit behind, Brett. Women are winning already. 😎
Long live Sheynnis Palacios Miss Universe 2023!! Brett fails to mention how she went against the dictatorship in Nicaragua and hasn't been allowed to return to her country. But instead she's celebrating.... blonde hair and blue eyes??? So much for caring about the latino vote I guess.
I think this is just the "cultural pendulum" in action. Things had gone about as far left as possible, the majority of people on earth were sick of it, and now there will be a gradual return to normalcy and rational thought.
The pendulum will swing back, hopefully it stays there for a while.

The issue here is that Brett is now on the other side of the pendulum, celebrating that a biological woman won as if all previous Miss Universe are not biological women, which is profoundly fake. Last year's Miss Universe was a stunning Nicaraguan woman. The kind of half-truths that Brett is saying in this video and sensationalism are also sickening for normal people.
"normalcy and rational thought" is awarding a blonde blue-eyed woman? What about last year's winner? Is that not significant enough? But oh wait...she's not white so Brett doesn't care...
The first runner up Miss Chidimma from my country Nigeria 🇳🇬 is the definition of a black Barbie. She is drop dead gorgeous. She made us so proud because that is the closest we have ever gotten to the crown since inception. We are also so glad she is one of the continental queens (Miss Universe Africa & Oceania) and her story is truly inspiring. Congratulations Miss Denmark, and I am so glad we are having a lot of normalcy in the world again.
As a fan of the Miss Universe pageants I always follow up on the competitions each year! I am confused on why you have the X post saying "finally Miss Universe is a real woman" because there had never been a trans miss universe winner... I love your videos but i am kind of surprised you didn't double check some of these statements to be true or not. On another note I encourage you to check out Miss Denmark's interviews because they are really inspiring! She won not only for her beauty but for her intelligence, confidence, and strengths from her experience as a woman. I think showcasing her positive energy and inspiring motto could be a nice tribute to her :D
Maybe that is a bit of an early call, but I like the optimism. For sure the shore is slowly turning the ship after it crashed fully into it, but that takes time.
Hot biological women have BEEN winning pageants recently. You just haven’t made a show about them since they’re not white, blonde, and blue eyed… that would just be too “woke”, “diversity and inclusion” and “fabricated” for you.
"Biological woman" as opposed to what? Freaking mineralogical ones? Good Lord! Plenty of you folks have been utterly gaslighted by the libtards and infected by the woke virus they've unleashed on the world and you don't even realise it! 🤦🤦♂🤦♀🤦🤦♂🤦♀
Its so cool that a woman finally won a contest for women! But there were effectively better contestants than her to win... But let's ignore that lil part for now. (3:49... And what if blue eyes just weren't hitting it as hard as others?)
While I can understand this video, I feel like it’s a bit of a stretch and just adds controversy. There has never been a transgender winner in the miss universe pageant so it’s hard to see the point of this video. Also, all the other winners where indeed gorgeous, especially last years winner. Love your videos Brett, but this one I don’t agree with.
Has there ever been a non biological woman win this pageant? Last years winner Sheyniss from Nicaragua is 100% lady lady, wonder why wasn’t that a headline
Beauty is most definitely subjective, this lady is 21 years old and looks in her 30s. She seems like the female version of Ivan Drago from Rocky 4, hyper masculine, rigid, robotic.
bret sweetie i love you but last year's we also had a bio woman, she was just not blonde+blue eyed. still one of the most beautiful people i have ever seen, at least come add a comment here aknowledging her
Don’t forget Miss America 2024!! Madison March a very beautiful woman who is also currently in the Air Force, started a foundation that raises money for cancer research after her mother died of pancreatic cancer, and has multiple degrees (including one in astrophysics!). Truly an all American Barbie 🇺🇸
Sadly, part of the point of this show was to call out how an unhealthy obese nurse and also a transvestite placed in the top 20 last year. Two years ago a transvestite bought the competition and rigged it to let genetic men in if they filled out paperwork to force others to say they are whatever they claim to be and last year two people born as men were in the competition. There were actually more then one biological men competing against the biological women for Miss Universe in 2023 that’s an agenda to say the most worthy to represent a women in your county is a biological man on hormones with makeup. This stuff just steals from natural women, should the other women also take hormones to compete? No! Congratulations to Miss Palacios last year, the year the competition was a political attack against women a natural women still won. 💐
Latin American countries have many winners and placements over the years, as well as countries like the Philippines, India and the US. It’s mostly because they are very very serious about their pageants and their representatives. Honestly this year’s pageant was a mess production wise, however Miss Denmark is very beautiful.
Women win beauty pageants ALL THE TIME . A blonde haired woman just hasn’t won in a LONG time because dark haired countries tend to dominate beauty pageants.
If you had been following the pageant scene, you will not find the current winner to be the most beautiful or the "hottest". Just look for the contestants of the previous years.
we have always gotten hot ladies. Are you racist or something? Like last year's beautiful black women was also hot. I'm actually losing my mind with these white ppl in the comment holy
7:48 hmm I wonder how Native Americans feel about this statement. Are there any conservative native Americans in the comments here who can speak on this? I'm 100% serious.
I was looking at past winners( recent times) from Ms universe and I would say most of them looked liked they were from their country except the lady from nambia one year.😅
That's a weird remark to make. The native americans are a conquered people, just like most europeans are. In fact, native america has been conquored longer than some european countries. Why would native americans feel less american? other than american media making the verbal distinction? You talk as if there are still 'pure blooded' native american's left. I'm fairly certain all of them have intermarried with non natives or with 'mixed' offspring by this point, here in europe, most of us are mixed at somepoint in our family history, often to a fairly great degree. the american election polls already showed that distinguishing people by their background or a label does not make their votes or opinions unanimous. So it is peculiar that you choose to single them out. Especially as they are easily a generation or more removed from large scale territorial conclicts than east european countries are. To hold on to a victim role and remain stuck in the past would just be bad for all of them. Wars and conquest happen. Its human history since BC and to this very day. Why would they still be that buttsore when they had relative peace for this long afterwards and are likely intermixed as well. That's no way to live.
Politely disagree, Brett. Last year's winner did an amazing job, she's a biological woman and she's the first one to win the crown for her country, Nicaragua🇳🇮, in the history of the pageant. She was CONSISTENT all the way through the pageant in every section of competition and had one of the most iconic reigns in recent history, connecting with every country she traveled to, its people and its culture. Now, as a MU semi-casual fan, I don't really personally love the new MU. Her runway is jumpy and not very graceful, her answers were very cookie-cutter, instagram-motivational-post-y for me. I do think she's gorgeous, but that's not enough to be MU, imo. I think the fact that people in general are so oddly excited that a blonde, European woman won is unsettling to me. I've read so many comments that say stuff very similar to what you've said in the video. "Finally! A beautiful biological woman won a beauty pageant!" "It's such a breath of fresh air that finally a truly beautiful woman has won MU". No, a beautiful biological woman won MU last year, and the year before that, and the year before that. Especially with Sheynnis having such a remarkable competition and reign, it feels dismissive and even like people are showing their biases for eurocentric beauty standards. I enjoy your show, Brett, but this story wasn't well researched or well put together. It even feels a bit biased and it has an odd racial/ethnic connotation. Don't care if anyone in the comments thinks I'm woke or fragile, but it's just what I perceive. Edit: Also, what exactly is wrong with a child of immigrants representing the country they were born and raised in? I'm Panamanian, but if my child is born and raised in Spain, wouldn't they be legally and culturally Spanish? So should they not represent their own country because they don't look like the most of the people in said country? Another weird, lowkey xenophobic dig there.
Yes, her take here is very weird because she's just happy that the winner is white and blonde. There are many other contestants and winners who are biological women and objectively pretty. Beautiful women winning MU isn't something new 😅
It seems as though you’re only covering this cause she’s blonde with blue eyes. Considering biological women have won Miss Universe since the beginning of time. Interesting.
Did you not hear her say that it was shocking because recently everyone celebrates biological men, other women that are playing the victim card , and villainizes white women. That's the point. And looking at the comments it shows how uptight yall are
@@itsleztiThere are 125 countries competing in Miss Universe which has been running for 60 years... There have been at least 9 blonde winners throughout the history of the pageant. When was the last time a biological woman didn't win miss universe? Y'all are celebrating like it's been years. I can't find a trans that has won miss universe.

And she is a stunner!! Thank you Miss Universe competition, sanity prevailed.
its not news...this is brett cooper riling up her base

A biological woman wins Miss Universe, and now I’m waiting for the media to call it problematic.
And how it’s “white supremacy”…
And transphobic.
Just what I was thinking.
They did 🤣 they called it bigoted and racist that a white woman won
@ if that’s the case then why don’t they just remove white biological women from the pageant altogether. Or maybe just the men lol 😂
Very good point

There was never a transgender Miss Universe winner though, if I recall correctly. Last year’s winner from Nicaragua was a beautiful biological woman as well but I didn’t see a video like this.
Yup. No trans has ever won. Also, 3 blondes have won major pageants in the last 2 years. MISS world and Miss Earth. They didn't make any of these videos did they? This is just to reinforce their delusions.
Anyway, I think Brett has convinced me to unsubscribe

That rule was actually removed in 2022! Thank God, because it was ridiculous.
@viviannecarpenter8201 thank you!! Cuz for real it's insane
What?! Mothers ARE allowed to compete in Miss Universe. There was even a mom in the Top 5 this year.
I'm a regular Miss Universe pageant fan who catches up with other national and international pageants. I'm not sure if this is even news. Miss Universe has always crowned authentic women and nothing has changed lol
Special shoutout to Pia Wurtzbach (MU2015 from Philippines), Iris Mittenaere (MU2016 from France), and Catriona Gray (MU2018 from Philippines). Few of the most peak of women that were crowned in the late 2010s.
Hooray. You didn't mention the winners from 2019 and 2023, inclusive, which seem most relevant time period. Were they all authentic women?
Ah, of course! Zozibini (MU2019 from South Africa) is a stunning and awe-inspiring black woman! I missed out on the build up and hype till Miss Nicaragua got crowned last year tho, so seeing Denmark crowned live this year was my comeback to the whole thing. @SanchoPanza-wg5xf
Right?! It has been women who is winning for a long time now, there was one trans i remember joining but they didn't win. All are diverse and from different background so i don't get the over hype.
@@mayarimarjorie5624 There have been a bunch of highly unqualified winners of various beauty contests in recent years. This winner is the real deal. What are you arguing about?

This. Brett missed the mark with this one and its seems like she didn't do her research.
Brett pushing wrong information and hateful rhetoric?! Nah 🤓
@@juliandavis9711 Hateful rhetoric are you kidding me
I have fact checked this and @chanichann is telling the truth here so then let's talk about what Brett said
Men should not be allowed into women's events, including beauty pageants - true
Plus size women are considered less attractive by most and probably don't deserve to win beauty pageants - true
In recent years, both of these have been violated at an increasing rate - I would guess this to be true
She certainly IMPLIED that in recent years, both of these have been violated IN THE MISS AMERICA PAGEANT and that is not true. Even though I don't believe she directly stated this I do believe that it was wrong of her to mislead people (whether that's intentionally as you probably think or not as I think, the burden falls on her to be reliable if she wants us to trust her) but that doesn't equal hateful rhetoric
What was the hateful rhetoric she "pushed" in this video? Did she incite violence against anyone? Or wish for anyone's rights to get taken away? I just I must've missed that part because I don't remember any. What was it?
The new Miss Universe is stunning, but last year's winner was also a genuine biological lady, who was as stunning.

I just have a genuine genuine question. Isn’t the 2023 miss Universe winner also a beautiful biological straight girl? Do one you soppy sod, it's not that deep, it's a bit of fun, lighten up ffs.
@@Wobble2007 No, this doesn't look good. Agreed. Title is also degrading. There are many beautiful biological women from across the world that compete every year in the pageants. Sure there are cherry-picked, highlighted exceptions, but for the most part the exceptions are not the norm. @@Homes1968i think this is the natural reaction to viewing ourselves as racial categories. I literally can't see an alternative when we do this. Every label comes with a belief, and rarely is it told to you when you adopt the label. White and black are labels meant solely to represent opposition to the other. There are already labels like ethnicity and nationality that handle your citizenship and your ancestry.
I have a few points here
1 Brett's happiness of her being blond and blue eyed is because of the anti white agenda that's being happening for years now.
Standard of beauty is one thing, the only reason European winners have been far and few in between, is because latina and asian representatives have had better preparation and overall support from their national teams.
morew like race baiting not trending, true diversity is about everybody
I never comment and generally agree with most of Brett's takes, but this video was not it...specially calling out the comments in 5:26 that DEFINITELY imply that other years' MU were not women; as other commenters have said, MU WINNERS have always been biological women so this IS dismissive to past years' winners. The pendulum will swing back, hopefully it stays there for a while.
The issue here is that Brett is now on the other side of the pendulum, celebrating that a biological woman won as if all previous Miss Universe are not biological women, which is profoundly fake.
Her crown came from my country. 🇵🇭... The pearls, So beautiful.🥰. Congratulations.🎉
2024 feels like a long awaited turning point.
Thanks to our trump card. Pun intended.
This is a good start, but there's still the risk of Biden and Kamala escalating the war in Ukraine.
Do you remember the winner from last year?
What does that even mean? Because they chose a blond woman as the miss universe, that's the turning point? Oh my lord.
@@hirushinz the fact that a biological woman won is the turing point
All Miss Universe winners have been biological women... is it because she's white and blue eyes?
Good point! I think any race, as well as trans women, should be eligible.
YES YES IT IS
Has there ever been a non biological woman win this pageant? Last years winner Sheyniss from Nicaragua is 100% lady lady, wonder why wasn’t that a headline
You know why lol
Too sad cz sheyshey wasn’t white and blonde LOL SO….🤷🏻♀️ we all know why…
Truly an all American Barbie 🇺🇸
to be fair, only bio women have won miss universe in its history. last years winner is a bio woman, the winner before her is still a woman.
What are you saying the miss world 2024 is blonde women 😂
If you had been following the pageant scene, you will not find the current winner to be the most beautiful or the "hottest". Just look for the contestants of the previous years.
Big dub for logic and sanity. Time to make sure we're getting hot again ladies
Who won last year?
we have always gotten hot ladies.
Getting back to normal.Finally ❤❤❤❤
Denmark never got involved in this mess
It has always been normal. Biological and objectively beautiful women have always won this pageant.
EXACTLY
Facts!
Did you not hear her say that it was shocking because recently everyone celebrates biological men, other women that are playing the victim card , and villainizes white women. That's the point. And looking at the comments it shows how uptight yall are
Did you watch the video? Lol
@@itsleztiThere are 125 countries competing in Miss Universe which has been running for 60 years...
There have been at least 9 blonde winners throughout the history of the pageant. They are overrepresented. Why is it wrong for the pageant winners to actually look like the diverse beauty that exists around the globe?
Stoked a woman won 😂💪🏼💪🏼
A woman won last year 🤦🏽♂️
Women have always won this pagent. I really don't understand the hype this year.
The confusion I had reading the title of this video was so real
At last, decency and normalcy has returned.
Look up last years winner who
girl what? Since when was Ms Universe not about decency and normalcy? You people are stupid asf
When was the last time a biological woman didn't win miss universe? Y'all are celebrating like it's been years. I can't find a trans that has won miss universe.
Yeah, I’m so confused? How is this specific situation different?
@@shealdme they only care cause the winner is white with blonde hair and blue eyes 🤦🏾♀️
I watch it every year and ALL the winners are beautiful
