Aaron Judge has a 7.7 career WAR higher than Shohei due to playing 2 more seasons. His rookie year Aaron was a negative WAR. Additionally he said Shohei hasn't won a Cy Young, but he finished 4th in 2022 and was essentially the team's ace. No one expects Shohei to win the Cy Young while batting with essentially a 1.000 OPS, that's too monumental of a task but to do what he has done the last couple of seasons it's crazy that you would put Judge in before Ohtani...especially what he has done for the sport internationally. But Judge is a beast, no doubt about it.
I would have loved to hear that Mattingly take but Broussard couldn't keep his mouth shut long enough for Rob to give it. He tried twice, smh
Ohtani will be remembered as an unicorn of the sport. That's all I have to say.
The absolute ridiculousness of putting judge over Ohtani in the hall is some WILD bias. A 1.000 OPS hitter who finishes top 5 in cy young. It’s OVER after that.
Ohtani is the most amazing baseball player ever.
If Shohei's career ended today, he'll be a legend.
Shohei is already worthy. Not quite sure about Judge yet.
Rob Parker is ode bias 😂
Very important thing is, Shohei is no doubt to be Hall of Fame, MVP, etc, then we focus on the other. That’s why always think we did not talk about him not enough
I was going to say yes, but then I remember that Johan Santana is not in the hall of fame. He had one of the best 5 year periods of any player ever. 4 All Star Games, 2 Cy Youngs, 1 Triple Crown, Led the league in strikeouts 3 times, Lead the league in ERA 3 times. He's not in the hall of fame, then neither should Judge or Ohtani be. They haven't had 4 years each at the very top of the league.
SHOHEI has a lot more value then JUDGE because pitching is a lot harder to do.......
Without even watching the video yet, I can already tell what 💩 Rob will pull outta his ass to hate on Shohei and belittle his accomplishments.. 😅
Shohei is a lock.
ShoGOAT GOATani
I think it’s obvious Shohei has way more cred to get in considering he plays both ways, and does it WELL, he also played multiple seasons in Japan (another professional league) and has a WBC championship.
Ohtani fasho!!!
Do this convo for Judge alone and leave Ohtani out of it. But you WON'T because you need the CLICKS. Lmfao, clickbait clowns always cloutchasing of Ohtani's name 🤣🤣🤣
I loke how Rob Parket easily disregarded Ohtani "we get it he hits and pitch.." like bro are you brain-dead? He has 2 unanimous MVP, no one has done that.. 3 silver slugger DH, I like all together 5 all-star (including both DH and SP) 3 all mlb team, like 2 all mlb 2 team, WBC champioship, 1 WBC MVP.. he has broken a lot of records.. 700 million dollar player, no one is getting more than that for the next 2 decades.. and more.. and that is only his MLB stats.. if you incorporate Japan.. he has won every award possible there.. that's the King of Baseball like wtf you on about mate
Thats crazy mike trout , shohei othani, Aaron judge, pete alonso have combine too win a total of 3 playoff series combined
What a silly question! Both of them are awesome. But if I had to pick just one, it'll undoubtedly be Shohei.
