While studying in masters you will get more acquainted with the literature and its various aspects.

Net exam is just the eligibility, to get govt job you'll need to pass assistant professor exam.

Analyse critically which topics you didn't cover in detail and focus more on them. Secondly you can score more marks easily in paper 1 so focus on that too.

It would be difficult for you then. It takes a deep understanding of literature to qualify it. However, if you put efforts now, you can prepare it, though it may take a little longer to cover a large chunk of syllabus. All the best.
Please mention only 1 book for paper 2 that is fully syllabus covered
David Daiches will cover the largest part of the syllabus.
