The volume changes different AC systems. If it’s a a accumulator system, it will be different than a receiver dryer system.. If it’s a old thermal fluid, fan clutch system for your condenser fan. It will be different than a vehicle that uses a constant on electric fan.. If it is a microchannel and Condenser compared to a Old, Tube and fin condenser, it will be a different volume If it’s pulsating Fan, using a cut in and cut out pressure differential to control their head pressure. It will be different than the other systems.. This is where you need to know where your baseline setpoint for your superheat and sub cooling operation lies using the original Refrigerant First. And then do your switch over to 134. There is no one set volume. And pressures change on every year make model vehicle, depending how that manufacture controls the head pressure.
I no there no set volume Im saying you should always fill and measure by volume that this system takes and use not pressures to fill a system. Pressure there to more for a diagnosis a problem make sure running right. Pressure change depending on environment
@@datz_nice_805 you almost got it. By weight not volume . The weight of refrigerant is always the same The volume of the Refrigerant changes with the temperature Refrigerant greatly expands and greatly contracts with hot temperature or cold temperature .
Even with basic knowledge should tell u how to performance check an AC ,, middle to slightly higher fan speed ,, recirculation ,, all doors open at least a warm day . Pressures are what they finish at once charged by weight or full sight glass . If the pressures are not as expected for that model of car then u have issues ie ecu controlled compressor . Even fixed displacement systems vary alot due to size of condenser . In this case bigger is better for condenser . The tales/issues I`ve seen caused by people who have no idea includes no drier change , no evap clean , no condenser clean , elec fans not working , overcharged , undercharged,, this was all on fixed displacement. Repair diagnosis could not get simpler . Some people should stay away from the set gauges hanging on the wall . Because they can connect them they no everything . Although for some its arrogance but unfortunately some have not been taught correctly .
👍👍👍$$$ especially the owners of the business. If the owner is technically inept, incompetent doesn’t have the technical know how to even diagnose themselves having a wet paper bag their businesses should be taken away from them, and giving job applications of flipping burgers, scrubbing toilets are taking out garbage.. Because all responsibility, falls on the shoulders of the owner Either one they’re completely incompetent, and they don’t know how to hire and fire their technicians and train them, because they themselves or technically incompetent They go out of the way, the higher the cheapest employees, because that’s their method of making profit . And then when something goes wrong and their shop there, pointer fingers at the employee and says it’s their employees fault that they’re technicians are incompetent . But it’s actually the owner who is responsible to make sure they are competent or in incompetent. They themselves the owner. She get their ass out in the shop and teach them with their own two hands, or make sure they go to the training to the necessary facilities for education in the areas that that technician is weekend needs a little help. . And if the owner cannot do this, they shall be removed from this industry, like a cockroach in the kitchen . There’s so much good training out there there’s absolutely no excuse zero at all whatsoever that somebody claims they cannot find this information . Like my father and grandfather used to say, you don’t have to worry because many shop owners fall in one of the three categories 1: technically ignorant and incompetent by choice. 2: cheap 3: lazy These three human traits that you can rely on, and I remember when I was young, working under owners of businesses, who had one or more of these three traits, and it is miserable to work for such a creature who does not belong in society in a technical industry.?
Another saying ,why anything fails 1/ poor design ,, this never happens lol Automotive AC lol 2/ poor maintenance ,, this includes everything/every part does it not lol 3/ idiots who do the work poor training ,,, arrogance etc Dumb should be when u don`t ask questions . Somebody else will always have a better way of doing something than yourself . Although not every one but its the attitude u have to have .

It’s just unbelievable they believe you could learn everything by learning on the job at the customers, expense of breaking parts, misdiagnosing and ripping off customers they deem as a normal way of doing business and then they have some reasoning to defend it. .
On my Audi, when doors, hood and tailgate are open it doesn't activate cooling mode. It blows hot air almost like no refrigerant.
Never heard of that one
preach brother preach its paul ,my diesel was my test bed last week end it was amazing
Your suppose to just go by volume not pressures
