Adele totally destroys taylor in most aspects of singing. This is funny! Head voice adele has more of a rich and full tone, while Taylor's is thin. Belting wise Adele has more power and thickness, but Taylor has more ease and comfort in the higher belts. Overall Adele will take this battle easily.
Adele technique is not better than Taylor’s. A lot of the high notes are being touch while Taylor is fully belting. But since Taylor’s voice is higher pitched than Adele it may come easier for her. Adele head voice is richer because her voice is deeper and fuller.
You don't know about singing, Adele's voice has a lot of feeling, she transmits strong emotions, but apart from that, there's no aspect in singing that makes her overly superior than Taylor to say she is better at every aspect of singing... Even considering her a bit better is debatable
It's actually interesting if you think about it that Taylor's consistent support range is wider than Adele's: Taylor can properly support from a F3 up to a B4! Even some E3's en C5's were decent.

Not a tie, don't be afraid to say Adele is better at singing, it doesn't take away the fact that Taylor Swift has a bigger impact overall, Taylor Swift style and focus is just not outstanding singing skills, but rather a connection with listeners through her lyrics... Which gave her the most successful career in the recent years
My personal verdict is Lows - Taylor Belts - Taylor Head voice - Adele That’s just based off the clips chosen but I think my verdict would be the same generally speaking as well
Lows: More of tie but i´m leaning slightly more towards Taylor because she´s a soprano and Adele is mezzo but Taylor performs just as good in her lower register and from her studio vocals it´s clear she can go much lower when she wants to. Belts up to C5: Tie - i think they perform very similary, support and resonance is there, Adele has better vibrato though. Belts above C5: Taylor - as a soprano Taylor naturally has much easier time to reach notes above C5 compare to Adele who struggles because she´s mezzo and doesn´t have enough good technique to back her up when goes up there. Upper Register: Adele - Adele uses more classical head voice and she has some technique to help her reach notes. Taylor performs well, as soprano she can reach notes without much problem but she uses mostly falsetto and when she goes once in a blue moon for head voice it´s unsupported. Agility: Taylor - both are not any crazy riffers and have just decent agility at best, but Taylor even though she shows it less often than Adele performs simple and not too complex runs very well and i think she is slightly better than Adele when it comes to separating notes in riffs and runs and also better musicality when it comes to adding them to songs. Verdict: In my opinion they are more or less equal. In my opinion Adele is naturally more talented singer but Taylor put much more work in perfecting her craft compare to Adele if that makes sense. I don´t think both of them reached their full potential yet, both have beautiful emotive voices that can truly move human heart and i hope we´ll get a collab one day.
@@richmaxmchalliwchester1984 a “lower soprano” is literally a mezzo… also she hasn’t got the agility of a soprano (like ariana grande, demi lovato, zara larsson etc) in the 5th octave… the fact that she can hit and sustain an E5 doesn’t make her a soprano
@themorningab this topic is really interesting. Most people would classify Taylor as a mezzo because she utilizes her lower register much more than her upper register. The reason Taylor Swift is actually a soprano is due to the timbre of her voice and where her voice most comfortably sits. Even though she can sing really low notes, her voice thrives in the A4-D5 range. There are many different types of sopranos and Taylor falls into the category of light lyric soprano which means she has a bright and softer texture to her voice with less power and weight behind her high notes than Demi or Ariana. She also doesn't have the heavier and darker tone to be a mezzo. Taylor is actually is capable of reaching much higher notes than she regularly sings like the G5 she hits in Dancing with Our Hands Tied. I would love to hear more of her mid 5th octave notes, but I think she chooses to use the range that she feels best fits the storytelling she does in her music.
@@ATLA99 i wouldn’t really say that her voice thrives between A4-D5, as she’s shown us many times that her main strength is the 4th octave. it’s true that she can hit (and sustain) a D5/E5 and she can hit even higher notes for sure, but not with the same ease and agility as a soprano would. the fact that she can doesn’t make her a soprano. she’s not even an alto, because even though she can hit really low notes (D3 and lower) they’re not really strong. the only option left is mezzo which i think is the one that fits the most
Actually when it comes to vocal technique, they're not really that different, it's just that Adele has a powerful voice that people find amazing, it definitely is, but it's just her voice, it's not really vocal technique...
@@andresleon2293 Adele’s technique isn’t perfect but she’s still a much better singer than Taylor. Neither of them are trying to be a technically perfect vocalist, and they are actually more equal than people may think. Neither of them have the vocal ability of people like Ariana Grande or Beyonce, however Taylor and Adele are actually pretty equal as vocalists. Overall, they're fairly even, adele is better lower, but Taylors better higher, so it kind of balances out.

None of what you said makes sense, someone’s voice being thin isn’t a positive or negative. You’re not being objective.
Great video!
It's actually interesting if you think about it that Taylor's consistent support range is wider than Adele's: Taylor can properly support from a F3 up to a B4! Even some E3's en C5's were decent.
Taylor can’t support up to B4 consistently, it has rarely happened , she’s usually trash even in the C4-A4 area as well

Not a tie, don't be afraid to say Adele is better at singing, it doesn't take away the fact that Taylor Swift has a bigger impact overall, Taylor Swift style and focus is just not outstanding singing skills, but rather a connection with listeners through her lyrics... Which gave her the most successful career in the recent years
My personal verdict is
Lows - Taylor
Belts - Taylor
Head voice - Adele
That’s just based off the clips chosen but I think my verdict would be the same generally speaking as well
In my opinion
Lows: Taylor, but Adele is good
Midbelts: tie
Upper belts: Taylor
Head voice: Adele
Agility: Adele
Versatility: Taylor
i love taylor's music but adele's voice is on another level
I don´t think both of them reached their full potential yet, both have beautiful emotive voices that can truly move human heart and i hope we´ll get a collab one day.
taylor is so not a soprano
@@themorningab she is, like lower soprano. She has all characteristics of one.

Adele is more focused on delivering vocally dramatic songs, but she's a stylistic singer and she's not worried about showing a perfect technique, she's more focused on storytelling. Taylor on the other hand, isn't focused on vocals at all, she's also more of a storyteller and she sings pop songs, which doesn't necessarily require a great technique but she knows how to use her voice for sure. Taylor definitely knows what her strengths are. Her lows are really solid (it doesn't have the same depth as say Beyonce's lows but still quite solid), her belts are pretty decent, her head voice isn't the best (compared to Beyonce again), but she uses it well. She's got surprisingly good stamina and breath control. She's only gotten more consistent vocally over the years. People are going to attack me for this, but I actually think Taylor's the better vocalist because Adele has had 3 vocal surgeries and she's not quite as consistent as Taylor!!!
Definitely. Adele had vocal surgeries. At the end of the video shes very pitchy and off. Especially at 10:29

i always thought that taylor wasn’t that good of singer, i knew that she has good lows but after this vid i realized that her mid belts are great too!
Both of these singers are great song writers who make vocal decisions in line with their songs , even if Adele has been singing in that style for longer and overall has a richer voice.

Here's my analysis:
Lows - These are Taylor's strongest suit and usually the part where she has the most hope of winning in a vocal battle, unfortunately Adele's lows are tons better and actually her strongest suit as well.
Mid Belts - Adele but Taylor is improving at least
Upper/Mix Belts - Adele, being a mezzo, she's still more consistent up there than Taylor, a soprano.
Head Voice - Taylor's head voice is thin and tends to be pitchy. Adele has better technique in the head voice register by far.
Vibrato - Adele but idk if this is fair since Taylor doesn't know how to sing with a vibrato
Agility - Adele
