I'm a Pixel fan but I gave the nothing phone 2 a chance and I'm not disappointed with it at all. Amazing battery life, great software, amazing performance and a camera that's good enough for what I use it for. Good job Nothing with this one. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a flagship phone that will last 3-4 years for under $800
For Samsung, it's not really a separate app per se but like a Pandora's box to unleash the full Samsung Home App experience. "Good Lock" app is the app needed for customizing icon packs like a "stock" feature for Samsung and then using the Theme Park module. Technically speaking, you will still need to download the app and the module so it's not really stock but since it's provided by Samsung themselves, then it's sort of like a stock... in a way.

I wouldn’t 'daily drive' it though just because I’m not a fan of android OS. I do prefer Apple’s to android because it’s more pleasant to my eyes. We all have different opinions and tastes I can respect you folks who stand by android that’s y’all opinion on it and vice versa. Overall I’ll definitely pick up a nothing phone I wish the back wasn’t slightly curved however it isn’t a deal breaker
You can apply custom icon packs on Nothing Phone 1 without 3-rd party launchers. It's not a new feature. I've been using the Zwart white icon pack since I got mine.
🤔 I use a custom build Gcam for my device, for better shots obviously.. and I face the same issue as you just mentioned that saving photos after being shot takes some good few seconds.. I think they need to optimize the camera app more for better overall performance and processing on the images, the rest of little optimizations like missed logo won't be a big deal ig! amazing phone and brilliant way to start a company and keep it rolling! if they keep innovation and creativity fresh for a few more years to gain the trust of consumers with their special phones, they will become one of the best smartphone companies in no time!
Wish we were able to get the major carriers to carry more choices. Seems you have the low end phones and the high-end Samsungs and nothing else available when you go to the store.
Some youtubers say that the icon pack is inconsistent and omits icons, like for example, i saw a nothing phone 2 review where the icon pack didn't change the Facebook icon and it remained the stock blue one. And some say it changes all icons.

I switched from IPhone 13 to Nothing Phone 1 5 months ago, and I am happy with it. Personally I like the UI more. And also the 120hz display makes it smoother than the 60hz iPhone 13.
The ability to resize apps into widget sizes is very reminiscent of the Windows Phone. Love that.

Yeah, it didn't include all icons initially, but the pushed an update that now forces all icons to have it.
