That’s fair, @dawggydawgtown. If there’s ever a sequel, I’d absolutely hire a pixel artist for the enemy battlers and pixel portraits. Unfortunately, it wasn’t financially feasible this time around (a quick numbers/asset crunch yielded a total of $2740 + revisions - untenable with my limited disposable income).
That said, I did write/develop the game and score the 2 and a 1/2 hours of music by hand.
But I do get where you’re coming from.
Buy assets - ai generated assets. What's the issue in using the tech available? If it help devs create games that we can enjoy I can't see the issue.

not all AI is unethically sourced. Or are you just generally anti-singularity?
@@moonsoul5925 I would've taken messy amateur or human pre-made assets than this. The need for 'polish' turning to using ai-gen art like this has unfortunately poisoned the well of the project for me whatever else work you put in it, and whatever potential future projects from you.
