Thanks, point with white 94%, is if you are viewing after the lut or your Log images. Camera's as I have shows the Log image although using gamma support to display rec709(800) type of Rec709 LUT display. In that case 90% reflectie white is 61%. Cheers Harold
what is zebra level for regular rec 709 footage. I shoot a lot of videos and i do not shoot in log yet. It be nice to know what would be the zebra for skin tone and highlight clipping in 709. Thanks
Thanks for the question! So for macro/product shooting I would lean toward preserving your highlights, so keeping your zebras at a lower limit of 94. This will provide you with the most information to work with, with the least amount of noise, and prevent you from clipping anything. Also bear in mind you will still want to make sure to light everything with the contrast ratio that you are looking for before setting the exposure on your camera.
@@Pictureline also great content man, very very thorough. Ironically, with my inexperienced ass, I am actually literally employed making ads, lol I’ve been able to put out some pretty decent stuff without getting all bougie about it, but finally decided it was time to embrace the real strengths of my expensive gear
Damnit. Just bought a LUT pack yesterday. My first. 😂

@@TheAdequateMedia On the CII and the RV you can use the custom Zebra level to dial in a specific amount.
Do you recommend me doing this with the ZVE10?
