    I use a 1/2 ALL FLOW 200 foot 5/8 hose similar tip The blue one @4 gpm ball valve wand. I’m just not sold on those 12 v pumps, if anything I would consider a 1 hp booster Gould’s pump. I already have a 5500 watt portable gen. Back to the 4gpm , I feel like I get enough mix vs control on the roof @ 4gpm. Jrod included. Unless I get big commercial roof work the 1hp Gould’s may just be overkill anyway. Thanks Lawrence for the videos keep crushin it.

      316 Pressure Washing pro Dave Kuntzi what size air compressor do you use for your 1/2 ALL FLOW, I have considered getting the 3/4 ALL FLOW myself

      Power Washing Pros Inc. Lawrence Ashlin I use a rigid (home depot) brand 5.5 hp wheel barrel. Rob Anderson doesn’t seem to like the air compressor dependency. I used to be in the construction field and we would run those Compressors all day everyday. We maintained them well and could get 2 years or more from one easy. I may sometime plum up a 12 volt as backup to my air I just don’t get enough roof jobs. I have one Wednesday I may make a video and go over what I use. I just started in May and learning tons Thanks.

    I use 5/8 and I love it. Use a ball valve gun and 5.5gpm tips on my jrod and I get tons of flow. I'm even shooting right about 40 ft on a straight stream with a 5.5 gmp pump

    • @powerwashingprosinc.lawren922
      @powerwashingprosinc.lawren922  5 років тому +1

      Larry Mezo I may switch to 5/8 later

    • @pedromac
      @pedromac 5 років тому +1

      Can you explain exactly what you mean by that? I mean I understand 5/8 hose and you can shoot around 40feet straight up but does that cover a 3 floor building?
      Also, is the ball valve stretched to the jrod and the hose?
      A picture would be great, I know I'm asking a lot

    • @cococoolio7561
      @cococoolio7561 5 років тому +5

      @@pedromac I wouldn't try a 3 story building with it. A tall 2 story with peaks is about all it'll do.
      The ball valve attaches to the end of the 5/8 garden hose. Then the jrod attaches to the other end on a quick connect to a fitting screwed into the ball valve. I hope that makes sense since we can't post pictures here

    Thanks for that info. You might want to think about separating your battery from the same box as your pump!! 🤔 Electrics and water don’t mix too well if you get a water leak and it sprays out . Just good engineering practice 😉👍

    Lawrence, is it possible to rinse the Algae from a shingle roof after an application of the chemical and soap if the customer doesnt want the solution or the Algae left on the roof? I am just getting started and would like to know if this is a true possibility? Thank you in advance.

      Rob Francis if it’s moss you’re talking about yes if it’s white and dead then you can rinse as much as you can.

      There's a little adjustment screw on the end of the pump, a hex head you need to adjust it to level it out.

  • @mystorymylife9998
    @mystorymylife9998 5 років тому

    Does the pump only come on when pulling the trigger? The only downfall on the booster is you can’t leave it running if your not using it.

    u the man love these kind of field tests. u prefer 7 gpm or 5.5.? I hear more problems come with 7gpm 12v. vs 5m5 gpm 12 v. what are your thoughts Lawrence

    • @powerwashingprosinc.lawren922
      @powerwashingprosinc.lawren922  5 років тому +2

      Oleyn's Pressure Washing I use both 5.5 and the 7gpm. I have done most roof cleans with the 5.5 versus the 7gpm, seems like the 5.5 hold up a little longer and easier to get but the 7gpm is a little faster with cleaning and maybe shoots about 1-1/2 to 2 feet further, I like both pumps.
