    Thank you for all the information Mike. After your “Rant” I gained so much more respect for you sir. The part that you said about never clocking out hit real close to home. I live in California and I’m a truck owner operator, I have a lowbed and transport heavy equipment. So I know all about not clocking out. My wife is pregnant with our first child, we decided to sell everything and leave this evil state. I plan on starting a power washing business when we move. Thank you sir for all the information. Hey Mike, Great content. I appreciate you taking the time and effort to do this,...........without hitting your viewers up for some course or product. I love the idea of focusing on the maintenance side of things. You have to be willing to get in there and figure things out. It helps me to get over my fear of messing up too badly. Thank you. 👏I keep trying to get my softwash set up going and it's one fitting after another and trip after trip to the hardware stores to get it done. I have made a lot of progress on it. I appreciate the truth, the "weirdness", and spraying the car. I just subscribed. Question: need a few more feet shooting power, the "tall" shooter tips advertised on UA-cam
    Made no difference. Currently have 5 GPM. Thinking of adding a 7 GPM , with Cam buckles on both and using the 7 for high reach areas .. this way I always have a spare that is super easy to switch to. Good idea? Feedback? Anyways, I'm glad I found you and will be watching more of your vids

    • @TheFreshRinse
      @TheFreshRinse  Рік тому +1

      Thank you for the sun. Most will tell you that the 7 will not help you any, especially if you have the same size hoses. In fact, if you use 1/2” hose for the 7, it will likely burn up the pump.
      A 5.5 pump, with 1/2” hose to the pump, and 200’ of 1/2” hose to the gun should get at least 35’… with a 0° tip.

    Great video as usual. Nice box set up. Like how you pointed out how you would like the plastice to break instead of gun. Also maybe put some small L-brackets on the bottom of those boxes to keep the floor intact. Nothing wrong with that rant. People may get offended because we are in an easily offended time. Trial and error is better than ANY of those gurus courses that they push. Its tiring seeing how they lie to their viewers about the money they make and how easy it is if you just buy their courses. Mostly they are not hard workers and only learn enough about a trade in order to push it off on another so they can step back. No worries because laziness catches up in time

    I have learned a LOT from the experience of others. I think that everyone should build their 1st rig to get familiar with it. Education does have a price no matter the field. Seeing different people with different ideas is what makes the world go round. There are plenty of New EXPERTS in this field. I do wish everyone sucess...and I hate it for the people that get sucked in and don't have the personality or drive to succeed...in ANY business or field.
    Even WORSE is the people that spent $100k for college and graduated so confused that they weren't certain of what sex they were. Or WHO was actually oppressed. The taxpayer or the people demanding that someone feed and house them and their offspring.

    I’m not looking for someone to do it for me I’m just looking for how to start like how to put together a soft wash system, what do you put your chemicals in, how to set up the tubing, how to set up the electrical to keep your battery charged ect. it just looks as if most videos are from set ups that are 10 to 20 thousand dollars not starting from scratch

    Great content Mike! You hit the nail on the head & I agree with the rant. I always recommend to people to build their own set up to get the experience & test.

    Wow! I respectfully disagree with the rant about guys asking about parts...some guys are new to everything about power and soft washing.. and wanna come in knowing what they're doing... thanks to you guys some don't have to go thru blowing pump after pump..or destroying properties etc because of guys like you... people watch and ask to learn

      But you have to admit, the soft background music helped to soften the blow, right? LOL
      Dude, that’s so cool that you felt comfortable to speak your mind. I love that. Thank you.
      Yeah, it’s true... we need each other. I wouldn’t be where I’m at if I didn’t have people to ask questions to, and bounce ideas off of.

    dude I was enjoying your video up until the rant if you don't want people asking you questions don't post videos on UA-cam! I understand you didn't have people helping you when you were growing up but this is the 21st century you don't look like a young man so I assume you weren't brought up in the age of computers, Facebook, Instagram etc.. so if you don't want people asking you questions don't post how to or information videos on UA-cam I mean come on man it's the 21st century a lot of people use UA-cam as an information website you can't tell me that you haven't looked up a video of how to do something on UA-cam and used that information. and by the way you're sad somber music during your rant was a little much.

      Thank you. You obviously care, and I like that. There’s no way that you could possibly know how many calls I take every week, sometimes daily. Guys who are just now starting out and need advice. I helped 2 or 3 guys just today. I wish you well, and am excited for your success.
