- Maxson Goh Films the aftermath of an accident at Yishun in which a Double decker bus Operated by Go-Ahead Singapore crashed into the taxi stand at the MRT Station.
The bus, registered as SG5117C, a new Volvo B9TL Wright Eclipse Gemini II is filmed being removed from the accident site.

This is not the first time that there is such an accident at Yishun MRT station.
Even worst than this. It crashed down whole thing wounding 3 pax queueing for Taxi
Conclusion : That was svc 85 (GAS) heading to Yishun Bus Temporary Int.
It was supposed to turn right to reach Yishun Bus Temporary Int but it made a left turn (Driver's fault)
Yishun is under construction. Yishun Avenue 2 is undergoing works so it might confuse the driver a bit cuz the roads are curly and curved at sides.
Plus the taxi stand was built with the Yishun MRT. Why I say tht? Cuz last time not dd go to Yishun MRT so no worries there. Mostly driver's fault for turning left.
Why did I say it was Svc 85 (GAS) : The bus was Go-Ahead and the only Go-Ahead bus there is 85 which terminates at Yishun Bus Temporary Int.

Magrit Zekaryas the driver was at fault. The driver was supposed to keep right and turn right to yishun interchange but it went to the taxi stand instead

This clearly a case of in-experience, mis-judgement and bad design of shelter (shelter too low for double decker bus. It is an accident waiting to happen. Never sit at the upper deck in front of double decker. Hope no one get injured.

actually we really cant blame all the fault to the driver i mean yes he was not careful but dont u think they are suppose to built those shelter higher as it is exteded outwards to the road it really shows that double deckers are in danger with those taxi stands not matter is a private coach or public bus
