Rather than using a jump lead to connect to the negative point on the chasis I understood that you can just connect to any exposed bodywork with the negative. I.e. an earth.
We recently bought one after a flat battery incident at a motorway services in France. It cost us €180 to pay the recovery people due to confusion between RAC UK and their European counterpart and not having us on record. We found one of these units in a visit to a Carrefour near Caen. There was a Ring version for €59, and the Osram 300. We bought the 300 for €77. The literature and the Osram UA-cam video say you must charge it fully before first use, and that it will do up to 25 starts on a charge. Great to see you using it successfully on a diesel engine. I too was very sceptical having seen the power bank's size compared to the older jump starter packs like Clarke or Snap-on.
Thank you for the video, especially to be so honest to report failures as well to let everyone learn something. Really appreciate your review
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for the review, awesome job!
Make sure those jump packs are charged regularly, otherwise the lithium battery inside them will die and you will not be able to use it again,

Actually now I'd like to see you get the battery drained again and then try to use the jumper lead with it totally charged
Cool device. 👍🏻
It is, it even starts my new truck which is over 3l diesel too!
