Hey Becca, We just started a BRAND NEW Designaholic Facebook Group TODAY and would love to have you join! Here's the link: facebook.com/groups/designaholics/
You did what was needed and that's what counts! I would have liked if you did the bathroom cabinets the same as the kitchen. That plus the stair rail would pull the whole house together.
You all did an outstanding job! I especially love what you did with the banister and kitchen cabinets.. jaw dropping 😮! I love your videos... very informative.. You’re very talented 😊
Great tips, Kerri!... Loved the transformation. And especially the impact it had on the seller's outcome, while supporting potential buyers to see the potential of a future home as well. Win, win for everyone!... ✨😎✨

Beautiful! Ill admit my heart broke a little at 'nobody wants carpet' even though true because we are planning to sell but the only issue with our beautiful home is its all carpet and tile flooring 😣
Well Nikki, The great news is that this home sold very quickly and for top dollar even with the carpet! Just make everything else is gorgeous and hopefully they will completely overlook it just like they did in this house! Thank you so much for watching! 🌸
Nikki H yes, I have carpet in my family and living room. I don’t like the acoustics with all wood. Wood on the stairs is very dangerous. I have a son in law who owns a hard wood floor company and he doesn’t recommend wood steps. As you age balance changes along with other things lol!
Love the additions to dark cabinets n railing. Etc etc. great job. You should charge $1,000 bucks each job. I know you like yo go for free but ?!!!You are worth it !!

Keri... You might want to look up "STONECOAT COUNTERTOP" UA-cam videos. You could express your creative side, and learn how to make incredibly easy and beautiful faux marble countertops for your clients, at very minimal cost using epoxy, and it would increase the value and desirability of your kitchen and bathrooms IMMENSELY! It would make a great hit with your Seller's, Buyers and Agents! Oh! And BTW.... It's FUN too! 😊
Hey Kerri, just a quick question. My family has owned a very popular fine furniture company up north for the past 80 or so years. My Grandparents started the store when they were young newlyweds. I also have 20+yrs real estate flipping, renting, managing, listing & sales experience. I was also a mortgage broker during that time. I've been considering opening a staging business & would be able to partner (and obviously boost sales) with our furniture co. I would charge a staging fee and provide a discount on the staging package if the buyer/seller wish to purchase the staging items as a bundle or we could sell items individually. So, they would be buying everything from mattresses to rugs to artwork etc. and pay a flat rate which we could finance for them, if they wish. We have a very large 2 story storefront and several local, fully stocked warehouses with an impressive amount of inventory on hand that could be shown, in person, to our clients if they wanted to view items in person, for themselves or they could just leave it up to us. We would be pretty flexible. I could literally stage a house right now if I wanted to. Keeping in mind, without going into specifics, the furniture co. profits in excess of a million dollars a year & all of its employees are multi-millionaires. In your opinion, would the staging business be comparatively lucrative? Or is it something I should at least devote further research to?
Honestly, I’m a realtor and this is something I do for free for my clients so I really have no idea on the financial upside to a staging business. I know that there are a couple of organizations dedicated to the education and furthering of the staging business and I would think that would be a great place to get more information. One that I know of is called the real estate staging association. I think that might be a great resource for you to get more info. I’d love to know what you find out and how things turn out! 😀
Thanks so much for the feedback! I am a realtor who does all of this absolutely free of charge for my clients and in this case it wasn’t in my budget to provide this on top of the service that we already provided. 😀
I can certainly relate to the time & budget constraints, as a former REALTOR(R) myself. (LOL-😉) I used to do a lot of work for free to help out my customers, as well. You did a fabulous job!
Ohhhh...I wish I could help you!!! I'm about 8 hours away. Just outside of New Orleans. But if you join our Facebook group and post photos and/or videos, I can try to help. facebook.com/groups/designaholics/ The group is brand new so there are no posts as of yet, but we will be posting in there very soon.
Love how you discuss emotion. I’ve been in sales for a decade and studies show consumers buy on emotion.
Thanks Becca!

That front door color is exactly the color I bought for all my accents for a property I just furnished.
Those cabinets though!!!!

Kerri,
Stunning transformation! Where did you get the ironwork for the staircase?

Nobody will use the reading book by the door
Kitchen cabinets needed door and drawer pulls.
