This build has remedied most every shortcoming most people cite on the stock CT125. It would be nice for Honda to produce a similarly equipped CT181 and sell it as a separate model. However, it would surely take the price up and out of the realm of “inexpensive fun”. People who have purchased the CT125 knew what they were getting and got what they wanted. I bought a 1980 ct110 for $100 when I was 12, I'm now 42. I rode it hard for 6 years and it only failed when someone took it from the shop and wrecked it running from police. Unfortunately it never ran right again and ended up scrapped. I once stalled it in seat high water and it stared right back up and rode out. I have thought about that bike everyday since it was scrapped. Now I fight myself to not purchase the new ones but boy do I daydream. Now I'll be dreaming of riding a similar build, this bike is sick! I have to have one
A 100 bucks? I pd too much for a 90 that needed tuning.. when I finished I took it up the mtn. It spit out the plug, threads were gone. I coasted 4 miles down to the bottom, stuck the plug back in (still loose). It fired up and I nursed it the rest of the way home. That bike is awesome, which is prob why I pd too much. 😍
@pujabelgian to be honest. I did buy the bike from my Grandfather's collection of toys. So I'm sure I got a smoking deal. But to a 12 yr old in 1993, that $100 was a small fortune!
You talked so much about the things that we are seeing with our own eyes, you explained what we were waiting for you to explain to us how powerful this engine is that you didn't say. Finally whats Hp ?
@@gailmrutland6508 lol I hear ya bud! You've definitely got to have a LOT of love for the CT platform to go this extreme on a build. ...and deep pockets, obviously lol!
I have a 21 125. 3 k now. I wrote to Honda years ago and wanted a 280. I rode all my life and love the automatic. Mistake is granny is not low enough. I almost had to dump it in soft sand . And no real hwy gear. I get to 35 mph and reach for a clutch and nothing there. So I piddle down the road at 45 and happy. I can do 55 downhill.
Found a horizontal 200cc ,5 spd MC bike ,upside down forks , Fox rears natural asperated motor disks 2500 out the door waayyyy cool graphics .I found it at a Royal Enfield dealership in Texas west of Houston..

I have a 2023, 125 CT Completely stock, but I did get the little seat and foot pegs . Tried to “upgrade” to a Yoshimura pipe …disaster ! Too loud, less hp I feel- Put back the stock pipe. Quiet, smooth, sweet little ride. I really think they nailed this bike. 55 on a highway is fast enough for this bike. It’s a trail bike! Camping, exploring etc. If you want a motorcycle for hauling ass , get a 300 or something already built like that?
if Honda ever makes a ct250, I’ll snatch one up. Even a 181cc is just to impractical for US roads, imho. But this a benchmark custom build that sets a high bar-
lol it looks like the man himself has spoken ;) ...and I'm off to go buy some lottery tickets now. You know, gotta get the first step out of the way on my build haha!
Oh yeah, Wayne is on another level! Big congrats on that build of yours! Going off the pictures, which do absolutely no justice 99% of the time - it is absolutely B-E-A-UTIFUL! @@HondaProKevinNah!!! You gotta ride it and get it out there!! Just like my jeep, that’s what it’s built for! Can’t wait until we get together to film it!
the bike would be perfect with a 5th gear. all the other mods are great but mostly specific for purpose, where as the 5th gear is NECESSARY. screaming over 7k rpm or whatever at 50mph is stupid on a bike that has the HP to easily get to 65+ depending on conditions. Ive owned mine for 1.5 years now and thats the only thing I wish I had was 5th gear to slow those RPMs down at 50mph+.
Yessir, you hit the nail on the head there! Even if Honda made no other engine changes, throwing a 5th gear for cruising would significantly help these units out on the highway. Amazing build, but how much would all that cost? I'm guessing double the price of the stock bike. I'm just not sure it wouldn't just be easier to buy a bigger bike. Love and peace.
Pretty. But how fast can it go on long, easy afternoons, how big is the gas tank, and how much does it cost for us regular folks? You presented an otherwise detailed report on the bike. Thanks.

Hello Kevin, sorry for the late reply, just rewatching this video now, 3rd of 12th, 2023. I think it came up on my feed and I just happened to be on UA-cam at the time... Other than that, who knows :) As for the bike, I don't think the Honda CT125 are available in Australia anymore, at least not new release models because of issues with compliance of ABS or lack thereof... That said, and as lovely as this looks, I ended up buying a Honda CRF300 rally (ABS) :)@@HondaProKevin
That is a beautiful bike! I've had a few bikes over the years and just got rid of my last one. I'm a bit older now and wasn't riding much anyways. A bike like this has me really interested though. I'd love to have an around town bike, and after watching a few videos, figure this would even be OK with my 6'2" height. The only downfall to this bike in its stock form is top speed. I'm about 200 lbs, and there is a place I go to regularly that has a 55 MPH minimum speed limit for about 3 miles, and a "regular" 55 MPH speed limit for about 15 miles. I love the idea of a 70 MPH top speed with an easy cruising speed of 55. For the price, the stock CT125 seems great, and there is a detour I can take to avoid the interstate. Hmmm.
I see some one has a modified car too, seen the rpf1 in your garage when you were working on the grom and always wondered what ya had. Completely off topic but as someone with a 2013 gen coupe with 10k in carbon and 20k in other stuff what’s done to your Honda s2k?
lol yeah buddy, I have a bad addiction there too! Well, I did when I had the budget to do so but after starting this HondaPro Kevin stuff full time a couple of years ago, my buying / modifying cars and bikes has came to a stop. When the dealership I was at closed down in 2021, I was forced to sell my current at the time S2000, Type R and motorcycles to put some money in the bank as I tried to take this HPK stuff and run with it. The S2000 only had a few bolt-on goodies, nothing too crazy but here's an old video of her and me having a little fun in the parking lot at work lol: ua-cam.com/video/AUD3kHiS_b0/v-deo.html I've got a bad addiction with Honda cars too, as if the mentions of the S2K and Type R didn't tell you that haha! That was my dream combo though and pinched myself every day when I had the choice to choose between driving one of those two every morning. I've tinkered with probably 30ish different Honda car platforms over the years with countless swapped and turbo steps etc. Fingers crossed I can get back on my feet soon and start playing around with stuff like I used to, this whole counting pennies stuff isn't that much fun lol! Aside from getting another S2000 back as they are hands down, the most fun car I've ever driven when it comes to the overall "experience", I've GOT to build another K20 EG or EK but go AWD this time around. ...and good eye on spotting that RFP1 in the background! You have any pictures / videos of your Genesis? Love to check it out man, she sounds awesome! Those cars were slept on waaaaay too much back in the day. As always bud, appreciate ya watching and hopping in the conversation. Plus it's cool to know I've got another fellow car / bike guy on here too ;)
Everyone loves the upgrades and features but I am sure it doubles or triples the overall cost. At that point you can easily get a 250/300 dual sport. Like the Honda CRF300 Rally.
Very nice, but how do all of these upgrades effect the fuel consumption? 🤔 How far can it now go on a tank if ridden with enthusiasm 😁 but also how about a long ride comparison against a new ct125 and an old c110. 👍 👍
OK Kevin, first off, A+ on those pictures! I can't imagine the price tag on this build? Totally epic build. I thought about buying the Honda trail, but didn't because I didnt have a trail to ride it on & feel I would look more Mary Poppins-silly on the streets than when on my Grom (I feel like a giant on it). I love love love the orange color & everything was cool. I love & am all for a faster minibike-type ride esp 250-350cc types. I think, no offense to Honda or anyone, I would buy an e-bike before I would the trail unless they came stock with the 181 or a bit faster if doable. One of my all time favorite bikes is the suzuki DRZ 400 but could never get it cause the seat height is 36 inches. I am 5 7 +/- The DRZ rarely loses value, always sell when even used, if Honda could pull off a bike like this, that is not a dirt bike type (crf), you would never have them in stock imo. As always, thanks for the vlogs!
Thank you... I really appreciate the kind words as I've been trying my best to improve! Yeah buddy, she's got quite the price tag but epic builds - bring epic price tags lol with it being in the neighborhood of 5x the MSRP of a stock unit. It would be cool to see Honda tinker with throwing slightly larger engines in these minis as a lot of people love the styling but just can't get behind the whole 125 engine's power levels. Oh yeah, the DRZ is a classic and like you said - rarely loses their value as long as you get into them right but that seat height knocks out a lot of people, if you're not 6'+. Honda's "DRZ" in a way, here lately has been the CRF250L / CRF300L platform, with them not being a super aggressive off-road bike but more street oriented with a lower seat height and when it comes to bang for the buck - they're hard to beat. Thanks again for watching and hopping in the conversation too with such kind words, much appreciated bud ;)
I'm a diehard Harley guy! But! I'd absolutely love one of these little dudes to tool around, back and forth, the beach. You could literally take it on the beach and park it next to your fishing cart, and no one would say a word. Just don't drive it on the beach. The only thing I'd change that haven't been done in this vedio is the color. Orange and black are Harley Davidson colors. I already have two of those. So! Let's show it in black, red, or dark metallic gray. Can't say I actually need one, but I'm single, and therefore, I can spend my money ANY way I want. Look out Honda, here I come.
What a sexy build! The bike Honda should have built. How can you not love it? I'm afraid to know the bill. I guess if you have to ask, you can't afford it!

Honda Trail 55cc with 4 speed manual clutch was the absolute best step thru model, was built in early-mid 1960's Very rare find today but if you can find one buy it
Sweet. I love mine but the headlight sucks. I put aftermarket driving lights on and they were great but stopped working. I’m wondering how good that aftermarket headlight is. I see them online but they want over $300 bucks for it

People who have purchased the CT125 knew what they were getting and got what they wanted. I love my CT125 with all its shortcomings. It is so worth everything I paid and is exactly what it is supposed to be.
What a beautiful build and the person who built it?, is quite the craftsman.
Thank you
Damn this bike is beautiful, just amazing work!!!! Thanks for sharing
Yessir, she's a beauty for sure!
Appreciate ya watching and thank you for the kind words too bud ;)
Dude that thing is awesome I really like that! I would so rock that bike!
Yeaaaah buddy, she is too cool! I'd need my net worth to increase significantly though before I'd ever feel confident in riding this bike how it should be ridden and not just setting in the garage as an art piece lol!
As always bud, appreciate ya watching and helping to support all of this ;)
Phenomenal build out!!!
😲 awesome build! I would definitely rock dat !
Yeaaah buddy, me too!
Appreciate ya watching and hopping in the conversation ;)
You talked so much about the things that we are seeing with our own eyes, you explained what we were waiting for you to explain to us how powerful this engine is that you didn't say. Finally whats Hp ?
Wow, massive upgrade for CT125 💪. Awesome build 👍🏻
*Only one question. HOW MUCH? Thank You great vid and a helluva build!*
Appreciate the kind words bud!
The final tab on it was about 5x the MSRP of a new CT125 ;)
@@HondaProKevin *OUCH!!! LOL!*
@@gailmrutland6508 lol I hear ya bud! You've definitely got to have a LOT of love for the CT platform to go this extreme on a build.
...and deep pockets, obviously lol!
@@HondaProKevin MSRP of a new CT125 is 4k x 5 = 20k
I have a 21 125. 3 k now. I wrote to Honda years ago and wanted a 280. I rode all my life and love the automatic. Mistake is granny is not low enough. I almost had to dump it in soft sand . And no real hwy gear. I get to 35 mph and reach for a clutch and nothing there. So I piddle down the road at 45 and happy. I can do 55 downhill.
Fantastic build love it and the orange color. Honda coming out with a new yellow glow color that looks really good
Found a horizontal 200cc ,5 spd MC bike ,upside down forks , Fox rears natural asperated motor disks 2500 out the door waayyyy cool graphics .I found it at a Royal Enfield dealership in Texas west of Houston..

I'm more of a sleeper look kind of guy so I would keep the 125 badge.
I like the 5 speed and maybe Honda will make one with a 200cc motor
Ohhh yeah, it'd be nice to see throw a 5-speed and a large enough engine to squeeze out somewhere in the 15-20hp range so highway speeds wouldn't be a problem at all!
As always Mike, appreciate ya watching and hopping in the conversation bud ;)
I like the orange better then the Porsche Blue
It's hard to go wrong with either but I think I'm with you on the orange!
Appreciate ya watching and hopping in the conversation bud ;)
I have a 2023, 125 CT
Completely stock, but I did get the little seat and foot pegs .
Tried to “upgrade” to a Yoshimura pipe …disaster !
Too loud, less hp I feel-
Put back the stock pipe.
Quiet, smooth, sweet little ride.
I really think they nailed this bike.
55 on a highway is fast enough for this bike.
It’s a trail bike! Camping, exploring etc.
If you want a motorcycle for hauling ass , get a 300 or something already built like that?
QUALITY VID/ REVIEWS, EVERY TIME, UK.
Love to run at the New England Forest Rally in Maine! Great build.
are you crazy its fantastic all of it especially the big bore carb pipe kit makes all the difference cruising 65 instead of struggle at 61
if Honda ever makes a ct250, I’ll snatch one up. Even a 181cc is just to impractical for US roads, imho. But this a benchmark custom build that sets a high bar-
OMG! This bike is stunning! You gotta get the price for that build from Wayne lol!
Got to be 3x bike value
@@AshHalls 100% agree 😂😂😂

lol it looks like the man himself has spoken ;)
...and I'm off to go buy some lottery tickets now. You know, gotta get the first step out of the way on my build haha!
I missed his response… what did he say the cost was????
Over all....hell yeah!! Half the upgrades n I'm in.
Not practical, cost wise, but that's not what its about. This build is a true work of art ... love it!
That s a big change from stock!! Thanks 😊
I fell in love with this little bike. It's a shame it's not sold here in Brazil...
Very cool build, I think it would be AMAZING if this build was a option, it would make it sooooo much more usable. 👌
really like the muffler... and the ideas i got from all of it thanks
I love this bike. Wayne does an amazing job!!! However I prefer the pink one he just did for me. 😉
Oh yeah, Wayne is on another level!
Big congrats on that build of yours! Going off the pictures, which do absolutely no justice 99% of the time - it is absolutely B-E-A-UTIFUL! And paired up with that awesome jeep of yours, is just the icing on the cake. I'd be too skeered to ride it though and would just end up putting it in the garage and staring at it lol!
Appreciate ya watching and hopping in the conversation ;)
@@HondaProKevinNah!!! You gotta ride it and get it out there!! Just like my jeep, that’s what it’s built for! Can’t wait until we get together to film it!
Love it soo much. Sign me up Where can I get one in Australia. Perfect on the back of the camper for the trails everywhere...
That thing is rad! I’d buy one.
This sounds like a great 1st adventure bike
Going 100kph on unpaved trails can be exciting.
Yessir, that can definitely put some hair on your chest lol!
Appreciate ya watching and hopping in the conversation ;)
the bike would be perfect with a 5th gear. all the other mods are great but mostly specific for purpose, where as the 5th gear is NECESSARY. screaming over 7k rpm or whatever at 50mph is stupid on a bike that has the HP to easily get to 65+ depending on conditions.
Appreciate ya watching and hopping in the conversation, it's always cool to hear from owners and their thoughts on what should be changed etc ;)

I wish Honda would do the same. I would love to have one of these for commuting to work, but I need to be able to ride at 60-65 to ride on the roads that I have to use to go to work.
It's sick. Definitely more power is always welcome
this is a seriously great build. thanks for the video.
4RBT is not just about playing, it’s about winning, and that BMW is too good to miss out on! 🚗💨
Thanks.
Incredibly impressive build ! Probably in the $15,000 range LOL
I’m thinking closer to 20K
Yeaaaah buddy, she bad!
You're close... but might wanna add another stock CT125's MSRP in there to get a bit closer lol ;)

Love it! Honda should offer this as an upgraded model
This looks so soooo good!!!
lol HOW in the world did you find this video early?
I had it set to "unlisted" when you watched it, as it wasn't scheduled to go live until 10am - so when your comment came through and I saw which video it was on, it had me scratching my head haha!
Back on topic though... Yeaaaah buddy, she's a looker for sure! Appreciate ya watching and hopping in the conversation too ;)
Hello Kevin, sorry for the late reply, just rewatching this video now, 3rd of 12th, 2023.
How much? What mpg? This information would be useful in determining whether or not the whole e exercise is worth doing. Thanks.
Fun fact: you can actually add a Clutch to CT125, one of mate doing it and it work perfectly like an OG trail. ( Cost 4xx$)
Yeah, look for "CT125 clutch conversion kit"
@@TpzOHyeah it's called hydro clutch.
a very cool build! I'd take on in a heartbeat!
I love it and would like to get one (except for the orange paint) myself!
The S2000 only had a few bolt-on goodies, nothing too crazy but here's an old video of her and me having a little fun in the parking lot at work lol: ua-cam.com/video/AUD3kHiS_b0/v-deo.html
I've got a bad addiction with Honda cars too, as if the mentions of the S2K and Type R didn't tell you that haha!
Or why not even a stock Royal Enfield Himilayan for only $4500?
I just love it. I am lusting after it but cannot have as I live in England.
He also makes a version with a hand clutch.
He can also easily convert a standard CT125 to a hand clutch.
Very nice, but how do all of these upgrades effect the fuel consumption? 🤔
How far can it now go on a tank if ridden with enthusiasm 😁 but also how about a long ride comparison against a new ct125 and an old c110. 👍 👍
This is some serious coin for this build out. Just perfect looking CT
The CT125 needs this size of tires on it from the factory. They make it look like a real motorcycle.
Love this build, never did mention price though
Cool custom!
Love this. This is the bike I'd love to own.
So to get the upgrade build on the 125, you need to order one from this guy in Georgia.
Definitely some cool mods, but having a larger engine with the small fuel tank, sucks.
200 CC and belt or shaft drive with the 1 10's subtransmission for offroading.Climbing then I'd be interested
That is coolest scooter I've ever seen.
Brilliant! how much was the upgrade thanks?
What a sexy build! The bike Honda should have built. How can you not love it? I'm afraid to know the bill. I guess if you have to ask, you can't afford it!
I think this needs a 200 motor stock and the changes made here make for a really good adventure machine.
Damn fine build. What did the build cost?
Wow I would like to buy one of these built like this already?
Is there anyone out there selling them like this ?
I collect Honda trail 90 s and Honda trail 110.

I see them online but they want over $300 bucks for it
Sweet build, even if the lights beg a ticket.
