Lonny Eagleton is a professional touring musician who has worked with artists such as Shawn Hook, Vanessa Hudgens, Black Veil Brides, Andy Black, Hailee Steinfeld, and Teamarrr. He has performed on Jimmy Kimmel, The Today Show, The Much Music Video Awards, the Juno Awards, as well as several major arena & theatre tours. It is so funny when you were talking about being Starstruck because several years ago when you played at Top Cats in Cincinnati with Andy Black, you stopped to take a picture with my teenage daughter and she almost died. She still talks about that day. You guys were wiped out, trying to get things together Angel ask if she could get a picture with you and you said to her I will be right back. You did just that, you came back to take that picture with my then 14 year old daughter. That endeared you to Angel and me as well. Next thing we heard you were a part of BVBs and we were so Happy for you!! We saw you recently in Louisville Ky. Now my Angel is 17 but heavens I am 62. It keeps me young chasing you guys all over. Now her hopes are to see you all at a Rock Festival in Pennsylvania this summer. 🙆 You all be safe and prayers for safe travels and a very successful tour.

Haha totally! It’s a cool feeling for sure. Of course we’re all just normal people but I agree it’s fun to get exhilarated and as we grow up never lose that sense of excitement we harbored when we were kids!
I think personally I like the look of the Rosewood on the colour tone of the main body of the guitar. But I do love darker lighter tones aesthetically anyway.
I got home after a hard day, I did my thing, finally when I can sit down I see Lonny posting a new video, I watch and I totally relax, I love that in your videos, soothing, interesting, fun and all that stuff! I think the others feel absolutely the same! I really like your channel! I am grateful for everything!

Another absolutely amazing video Lonny!! I love hearing about all of it! I know right now since winter break I have been working on my reaudition for marching band which is in April I hope to get the spot on the first that I signed up for but we shall see! I am so ready and prepared! I also am super proud of my myself because I have been getting a lot better control of my playing anxiety and not letting it get to me as much as I do normally! I also did just order a bunch of trombone books for furthering my musicianship skills so am very excited! I hope you are able to relax a little bit waiting to go back out on tour!

For the guitar I like the pop of darker color that rosewood gives but maple has a more consistent light tone to the color. I like them both.

Ok so first thing…great opening on the video!!! Second I’d say go with the rosewood fingerboard it looks soooo paint and you get the amazing sound also!! Third another great video Lonny thanks for answering more questions for us!!
Thanks! Been trying some new techniques. And yeah it seems most people are in favor of the rosewood board. Still a tough call though!
I always look forward to your videos, Lonski! As for the guitar, I’d say go for the maple one. I love the Rose Gold color, it’s beautiful. If it sounds better, go for it! One of these days you’ll have to get a custom Eagle guitar, it’d be iconic! I’d totally be down to throw some designs together to be put on it lol.

The Silver Sky is awesome. I’d go for the rosewood fretboard but that’s just me! Both are fine choices. 🎸👍🏻

AX7 and BVB in 2022?? Yes, please! haha. Those PRS Silver skies look pretty sweet. That rose gold with the maple board looks extra juicy in my opinion. But the Rosewood looks tasty as well. Only love once, get both 😂 I'm still waiting for PRS to give you a signature model!

What good songs can one play on a six string bass? I'm looking to get a six string bass guitar but I'd like to have a small list of songs to learn and play to get me into the rythem of a six string when I've only ever played a four string bass lol. How did you get your bass style and tuning?
My style I suppose would be just a mix of all my biggest influences. For tunings, I enjoy playing in standard, but I need lower notes I’ll drop it down from time to time.
If you weren’t picked to be in Black Veil Brides (relieved you were lol), would you have released your own solo album? Does Rhita work? Xxx
If I wasn’t currently working with Black Veil Brides I’m sure I would just be working with somebody else. My career has always been a rotation of different bands. One band stops touring and another starts. That’s usually how it goes for most musicians. Always going where the work is. I am very thankful to be with BVB now though, such an amazing opportunity for me and a responsibility that I take to heart.
