You guys should look into the heroes next door, Channel. Or look into Eric Hurst. These guys have some reach. Your station is groundbreaking and phenomenal. I think the more eyes on it are better.
I’m hoping you misspoke when it came to your gear storage, you said the room was positive pressured I hope that’s a mistake because any soiled or contamination rooms will always be negative pressure. You don’t want to blow the contaminants into the rest of the firehall.
Gear room will have contaminants in it as a result of it holding used gear. It is positively pressured to keep further contaminants from the bay to come in (access gear room only from the bay). No direct access to living quarters from the gear room. Have to go through the bay to get to living quarters.
The clean gear is stored in a positive pressure area to keep the contaminated area from being sucked in. The contaminated gear aren’t stored in that room.
I think what they wanted to keep diesel out of the gear room. But I have seen some gear lockers with negative pressure for the gear itself because of off gassing.
What a well thought out designed fire station. Any crew would be very happy to have that station as there own.
Crazy to the see the amount of funding fire stations get out west. Looks great!
The training area is brilliant, what a great addition.
Tons of thought went into this station, possibly the gold standard for the nation

The rookies having to clean all those bathrooms haha
I like it very much except the brick as it's too bland and depressing looking (my opinion) but everything else is absolutely beautiful.
